:biggthumpWhat about Google Link Shortener? (goo.gl/) I guess its pretty great!
Damn OTrap, that's gotta be one of the most useful things I've come across.Okay, I found the tutorial I used to make my own.
If you do it this way, you:
* Never have to worry about that lame message coming up.
* Are able to delete the link.

Enjoy!
Hope that is helpful!
It's basically just redirecting with your own domain which I always do. I've just always used my existing domains to do it and then set up the redirection link manually.Do it, GW. It's REALLY easy to do. I've set up 3 of them for myself for different things.
It's AWESOME.

This is a cool idea because it gives the advantage of a url shortener and makes it a little more simple to create each time. I really like it, thanks.
one thing i always do that is free for me is use bit.ly links then forward everything to a no-ip.org domain. Easy and simple.Damn OTrap, that's gotta be one of the most useful things I've come across.
I never really liked using shortening services because I like having control over the link.
Once set in place this solves everything about shortening aff links.
1. makes it short
2. keeps it friendly sounding
3. hides your affiliate code
4. make as many as you want for different tracking ids
5. gives you control over the resulting link
6. can change the target of the link if needed.
7. simple task to create the links.
kudos for giving us the link to that article.
I'm gonna set this up for myself real quick.
I use self-hosted shorty for urls. One of the few that will make urls without symbols and allow you to use your kws in urls it creates. It tracks clicks and allows edit. If a CB or CPA item doesn't work out you just edit the link in your admin panel and now all your traffic redirects to new location. It's free, takes about 5 mins to install and works perfectly.
