Yes, Clickbank has hide their client's info (email, name, country, .etc) from Clickbank affiliates!
Damn, lots of opportunities are closed now

Hah! It doesn't even let you see the receipt number in full!
Guess I won't issue any refunds then, since I have no way of knowing who it is.
Refunds are out of your hands. CB decides to issue refunds or not. NOT the actual merchant (you).

People dont always know to contact clickbank so they will contact the person they bought it from, then you can send an email to [email protected] with there receipt number (if you have it).
Awesome. Now, if someone buys the same thing twice, I will have no way of knowing to expect the refund.
Also, if I wish to attempt to assist the customer, in case a refund request is the result of a misunderstanding, I no longer have any way of doing so.
This creates problems, and quite honestly, I'm really pretty annoyed.
Thanks a lot, CB.

I understand and sympathize with your viewpoint but it's all about the potential misuse of the buyers info. Remember, CB is the merchant (seller) of record, not you.
Evidently CB has been getting complaints from buyers saying they are being bombarded with sales emails not related to their purchase. So I can see why CB changed the policy.
I don't like it either but ...
