Profile Links - My experiment and results

Dude yesterday I built 20,000 PR3+ profile links to a website and second tier sites and wont see a whole lot of difference in the serps. If I get a 10% increase in traffic week in week out I feel I'm doing well. Profile links are great because they are so easy to automate but it's quantity rather than quality with them I'm affraid. 40 of them aren't going to get you rushing to the top. If you are doing it manually why not try to put your efforts into targeting high quality links instead? Email, phone or write to other sites in your niche and ask if they want to exchange links, get your link out there on high authority sites any way you can. One good ink on a PR6-7 page (note. page not PR6-7 site) is worth so much more than 20,000 profile backlinks.

To give you some idea one nofollow link on a exceptional page increased the traffic to one of my sites one hundred fold in a week. Alot of it was due to traffic from the link but the traffic from search engines rocketed as well. That's where you should be focusing your efforts IMO not filling in profiles manually.

That's a very good advise cool5now. I'm also doing mass automated backlink forum profile creation, sometime more than 1000 a day, but I just started this mass automation since 2 or 3 months.

But big G is really strange with backlink of this type. By example, I've started two website in the same niche at the same time (both domain created more than 1 month ago in september). These websites have only forum profile backlink.

The first have actually 450 profile backlinks (68 link indexed in yahoo linkdomain), he is already on the first page on Google for some good keywords related to the niche.

The other 2500+ profile backlink (72 link indexed in yahoo, yes only 72), he's in the google index (can find the site with site: operator), but not yet indexed, it's still sandboxed.

I've done some spam comment to the backlink profile to and some customized RSS spam.

So Yes it is too soon to advanced something, (domain are only 1 month old) but mass link creation is not always the best solution at the beginning.

cool5now, By the way what software do you use for this task ? I created my own.

And another thing, mass forum profile creation implies $$$ in decaptcher like service.

40 is a very small number.
I just did 300today, 300 yesterday........ and another guy did 10k for me. So 40 is almost nothing.

Do not forgot to build backlink to your profile link. Signature can handle many links, so put a link to your main website and one or two link to other profile (better if they are related to another niche, but not really important, it's just to stay "under cover").

40 links is not enough, yes it depends about your target site, but you will see that all the profile link you builded would not be indexed. Event if you make backlink to them. It's due to the fact that some forum are already uber spammed and got thousand of thousand of profile url with the same the same content...

Another good thing to do is to daily connect to the forum and stay connected some hours (keep alive), you probably noticed that when you log to a forum or something else, your profile appeare in the first page.

Profile link are good because you can quickly make many backlinks with different host and class C ip, but, they will never got a big PR and there lifetime are not very long.

That's all I know about profile link and that's my first post to black world.

This is a great first post, welcome to the community.

I would just like to add another strategy for beefing up your profile links.

On a lot of these websites, you can leave comments on high PR pages. Do a site: search, find the best PR pages and comment on them. Your name should be a d*follow link back to your profile page.

This process speeds indexing and makes the links more powerful.

It all depends on your competition. Not everyone blasts the crap out of a site. Check the top10 for your niche, backlink ATLEAST as much as those ones do...

How many profile links can be created per day without problems?
I create 20 per day and ping them, and approximately 2 - 6 hours they are in index.

After days of ping, no changes to SERPs. I guess 40 links ain't enough to convince G to rank me higher.

Another thing you have forgotten,If the profiles are not public then they will take longer too.

Did you checked if the profile are indexed in Google ? (site:domaine.com inurl:/url/of/profile.php?id=2341234)

How many backlinks yahoo found (linkdomain:) ?

Use rss.icerocket . com to build your rss feed.

Create a channel then add your profile URLs into the channel.

That created channel, submit it to rss aggregation sites, you manually submit or use RSS Submit or RSS bot.

Social Bookmark that RSS Feed to jumptags or any social bookmarking of your choice. Bookmark at least 10

Ping that RSS feed with pingler or pingomatic

You can also feed that RSS feed into feed burner and repeat the steps above.

Add more profiles...

Sometimes if the forum profiles takes time to index, try to interact with the forum itself. Join some discussions and if allowed put a signature forum.

I like these steps and are starting to do some what the same BUT how long does it take you per day at this method. Kind of hard when I work a 10 hour shift and a family LOL

I created 40 links to one of my websites via profiles in forums. These forums have a domain PR of at least 6 and all of the links in the profiles are do follow. Some are with anchor text while some are just links populated into the website field.

After about a week, I haven't seen any jump in my ranks. Is it because I didn't ping them?

1. 40 links is not very much.

2. You should create an RSS feed from your backlinks, ping that feed, and submit that feed to popular RSS directories. Here's a tutorial thread I made about the process:

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...rial-how-get-your-backlinks-indexed-fast.html

3. Just keep building more links. I say this all the time, but it's true. If people would stop obsessing about what links are not showing all the time and just kept building more links, they would get much better results. Just because a link doesn't show in a backlink checking tool doesn't meant it doesn't exist.

The absolute best way to approach link building IMHO is:

1. Build links consistently.
2. Promote your links.
3. Repeat the process.

I'll second this.

Build links constantly, this has got to be one of the most important factors when trying in increase rankings with profile links.

Also, you may not see results instantly but don't give up - keep building! Or if your just plain lazy hire someone to do it for you.

the amount of time it takes to manually create profile backlinks is definitely NOT worth the roi. the only time its ever worth it create profile backlinks is if you can create thousands on automation through tools like xrumer or sick submitter, or if you plan on creating lots of backlinks to your profile page to get it to a high pagerank, which can be a good strategy if the profile is on a really high pr site related to your niche.
