ive have a domain taken from me using enom as their reseller... I did get it back but lost the whois protection and had to transfer. I believe enom has high prices on domain renew as well.

Well to be fair, godaddy is doing alot of offers which you can get cheap domains. I myself bought loads lately under $5

Use namecheap, they are way better than godaddy and other registrars, been using them now for 2+ years.

I prefer to abuse the $2 offers that seem common lately and then switch the registrar after the 60 days is up. Get 2 years on a domain for $10 - $11 with namecheap as my registrar.
