What's your beef dude? This is paking black hat forum!

i agree with beaglejuice.
in a forum made to ... work systems
and people are flaming others for this??
it's easy to flame when you are sitting on bank, isnt it?

WAIT, isnt this software 70 bucks a year or something? there is a cut off point as to how long you had it and if you actually lost money. 8, 9 months?

i bought it and havent fired it up for a week or so and now worried to, lol.
i didnt know where he was getting them from, but as usual, if its to good to be true then it prolly is. i asked, he said bulk selling, lol.

getting money back from PP will probably be hard considering the item.
we will see.

I posted a link here over a week ago where you could get it on sale for $47 and in that same thread everybody was saying, "I'll just get it off of Silent Fox because it is cheaper". I bet you guys wish you had paid that extra $5 now.
Could you please give me URL of that thread?

Paypal won't help with a dispute...

>>>Our investigation into your claim is complete. As stated in our User
Agreement, the claims process only applies to the shipment of goods. It
does not apply to complaints about the attributes or quality of goods
received. Therefore, we are unable to reverse this transaction or issue a
refund.

Raise dispute saying you did nt receive the goods, chances to win the dispute.

That's an interesting take on it and one that got me thinking.

The "goods" in this case were not the actual software package according to the horrid software company rewrites of basic contract law around the idea of the post-sale "shrink wrapped" statement.

The "goods" were a one-year license to use the product.

That was clearly not delivered. Ergo, people did not receive the goods they contracted for.

I was going to be getting this from him this coming week... Glad my money that I was going to buy this didn't come in. Will be buying it only from the WWW... and any others.

1. I got the same from Silent Fox at 42$ .
2. Can everyone who bought it confirm the paypal address they made the payment to ?
3. I made the payment to [email protected]
4. I am now filing for an item not received.
5. I suggest everybody does the same. If it is the same email address and there are lots of complaints paypal will refund the money.

Thanks

Wasn't it already a steal for 84$?

My next door is selling a 2010 Rolls-Royce in 18K gold. There is a huge 64K diamond in the middle of the wheel. The value is about $2 millions.

Isn't it a steal at $84,000???
But he's asking and willing to take $42,000 for it.

Will you pay the $84,000? After all, $84,000 is a steal....

I bought tbs from the source so I'm pretty much confident that I won't have any problems. Now those who bought it from silentfox are having to fall under the mercy of paypal to get a refund then they will still have to pay the 84$ to the source. Wasn't it pretty much more comfortable to get the software from the source in the first place? At least I feel so...

honestly if paypal said no than you are a bit idiot. If you had marked the item as goods, well just say the seller leaved after you sent the money, and you havent heard of him for long.

it stopped working for me too. Did anybody contact tbs directly?

Yup I did and no response for two days.
TIP for paypal: Mark as goods not received not item not as described as software is not covered. Say you paid for it and have not received a physical copy of the software and license.
There is a 45 day limit to file paypal disputes . In case the time is up you have a last option of filing a dispute with your credit card company( they have a time limit of 60 days). Remember to state that you have not received the software.
Hope this helps.

It wouldn't be a stretch for SilentFox to be an owner at TBS considering the discount ends as soon as the sh!t hits the fan on that DB. Why haven't we heard from the TBS people on this. They did nothing (other than give support to the licenses) till it all went belly up and then cancelled the discount.

Hmmm.

Keep in mind that Paypal has been known to freeze accounts for filing a chargeback.

If you didn't mark the payment as goods when you sent the payment then you can't change it to goods later in a dispute. Many will send the payment as services or other and then tracking isn't required.

As far as credit card chargebacks, that's probably the last thing you want to consider. As mentioned prior, PayPal can cancel your account for a CB and if they don't cancel it then they won't let you fund anymore by Credit Card and you'll have to attach a real Bank account and fund with ACH debits. For $40 I'd chalk it up to lesson learned and move on before jeopardizing my PP account and maybe not get my money anyways. JMO

Lastly, if the buyer's account is empty and they can't recover the money then they'll send you the form letter saying they did their best and can't recover your money but if the buyer's account ever collects money then they'll try again. That's not the exact wording but basically the message.

i got screwed by paypal too and they said they cover only physical goods. This was my first paypal dispute. Also SilentFox came online 2 days ago and asked about the transaction.. I haven't heard from him, did anyone hear from him?

I tried your link, and it didn't work. It required a login.
