The dreaded CPA required phone call, what do they ask?

thanks for that... jeez its like the Spanish Inquisition... I would probably faint during the interview and hang up due to panic even after seeing the questions and rehearsing for a week.

Most of the questions I'm still trying to work out what they actually mean lol.. so it might take me a while to send back their questionaire..

im from slovenia, country in europe, everything is fine, but i just cant call them, if pay phone bill like 10$ just to dial up number even if no1 picked up, and like 10$ per minute from there on... i guess

How about using Skype or some other voip service?
Calling the U.S is dirt cheap (even free if you are on a subscription with most voip companies)

Yup Skype is that I use. Unless I'm in a basement the sound is actually very good too.

I just wanted to add something. I used to think they if the CPA network called you and you missed the call they would deny. This is not 100% true. I applied to Marketleverage on V-day (saturday) and they called me the same day. Werid I didnt think anyone would be calling on a saturday. I was takign a bath. I called back like 20 minutes after and got a voicemail, they must have been closed. SO I left a voicemail saying I am sorry I missed their call I will call them monday from work. So we will see if missing their call factors into getting denied or getting in. Just my 2 cents.

NeverBlue denied me after I missed their call. I was in the middle of a meeting and called 2 hours later, I believe it was someone named Brian when I called back said i was calling to say you had been denied. LOL sounded like bullshit to me, I dont think they would have called to tell me I was denied. Anyways this was my experience with neverblue even though they are legit.

lol dreaded. They just ask how you will be promoting, what verticals you're interested in, maybe how many hits your site gets per month. Just bs you can find lots of resources on here on what to tell them.

Hey All- Just received my phone call from MaxBounty-
Questions they asked:
- to verify postal address
- where i get my traffic (i said i am currently buying traffic, but am working on sites that will get a lot of traffic from social networking sites)
- what offers have i had success with in the past? (I said promoting health & beauty stuff like Acai Berries.)
- What offers am i interested in now? (I said offers that would work with young people on social networking sites- like email submits, cell phone ringtones, surveys).

She told me about a couple offers they have right now that sounded like what i was into- then *APPROVED*.

btw- it took about 2 days to get the call.

What's the big deal about the phone call, why is everyone so scared?

They asked me:
1) How long I have exp
2) What I plan to Market
3) How I plan to Advertise
4) When can I start..

Then I started to ask questions about what they allow and what don't they allow.. just had a good conversation about CPA .. I just started CPA marketing and have been accepted to everyone..literally..


If you atleast sound like you know what you're doing you'll be fine. If you sound all sketched out, they will prolly deny you.
