Hello navimeister,
Thanks for your review.
First think (IN MY CASE): THE PROBLEM is not in VolumeDrive, but in me. I have not the necessary knowledge to use a VPS without CPANEL.
But, at the same time, I don't want to pay, every month 15$ for CPANEL, specially because I will not migrate my plan from DreamHost (default hosting) to VolumeDrive (VPS).
I haven't had time to study this. I am doing a lot of things everyday, this can not be one more.
When I post here (like a newbie in this market of VPS servers), I thought could have something like a TUTORIAL (or something like that) to explain the basics steps.
After about 5 post in this thread, I can be sure... this tutorial does not exist (or maybe, no one here knows it).
I know Cpanel could help everything, but I don't want to use it. I'd like to use a COMPETITOR, specially if OPENSOURCE or FREE... like:
or
http //admin demo.isp-control net/
or something like
Easy Hosting Control Panel
http://ehcp net/
GNUPanel
# GNUPanel is a viable competitor for cPanel, with one minor difference: GNUPanel only works for the Debian OS
http://gnupanel org/

# In reviewing your options for free alternatives to cPanel, always try the control panel's demo if they offer one. All of the free control panels mentioned here offer demo interfaces that you can instantly view and work in.
I did not find a link.
In another forum I read:
Plesk, if I am not wrong, is for WINDOWS servers.

Like I can see in this thread, I will need to start the service with VolumeDrive to see what I will need to do to configurate it, because no one answer anything about that.
No problem with it, specially because the price (5$) is very cheap. But I think could be very useful if we could try to give some ideas here about what we need to do to configurate a VPS like this (unmanaged). I have no expertise to help anyone at this time.
At least, I will try to configurate one of these Freeware Panels I post above.
For me, the problem is not in VolumeDrive (Josh), but in me. I have no experience working with this kind of VPS.
Thanks!
