When I was a kid, I thought being an adult meant:
Having money
Buying whatever I wanted
Sleeping whenever I wanted
Nobody telling me what to do
Now that I'm an adult:
Checking my bank balance before ordering food
Getting excited when plans get cancelled
Sleeping early but still waking up tired
Opening the fridge every 10 minutes like new food is going to spawn
And the worst part?
As a kid, I wanted to grow up fast.
Now I want to go back and spend some more time with my friends.
What's the biggest scam about being an adult that nobody warned you about?
