Noticed some Quora answers showing up for long-tail searches even when they aren't particularly new. How much value do you think Quora still has for getting visibility in Google search?

Yes, a good Quora answer still rank's on Google especially for long-tail searches. Quora has strong authority and a question-based format that matches how people search. Pick questions people actually search for answer in the first two lines add specific details and update winners. It's a slow build, but the traffic can last for years.

For me Quora alongside with Reddit, are the best social media to work on to promote your business or products, because if the answer to a question is genuinely good, you can get traffic for multiple years.

Quora is reputable and offers high-quality content; Google recommends it for relevant search queries because the content attracts a large audience, leading to even more recommendations.

Yeah, I think freshness isn’t everything with quora. An older answer can still get attention if people keep finding it useful.

Sometimes quora content has a surprisingly long shelf life

I would think it's good Quora questions that rank well on Google..

Yeah, Quora can still pull some decent search visibility, especially for those random long-tail queries. I have seen older answers keep showing up for months. It’s not some magic SEO trick, but if the answer is actually useful, it can keep bringing traffic without constantly updating it.

I’ve heard of Quora, but never really looked into how it works for SEO. Funny how an old answer can still get attention while new posts struggle to get noticed, lol.
