Hi have a question for all the experts.

I have many articles in the most viewed with many links but not receiving the views that many other people are getting. I have copied the keywords they are using placed them in the same areas as them and used other keywords throughout my article. Some people get over 20,000 views for every article they produce in all different niches. They are not writing hundreds of articles. This can't be a coincidence. If I look back on some of these people I see they have no traffic on hundreds of articles until a certain date and then every article after that gets thousands and thousands of views. Does any one know how this is or how it is done.

They more than likely faked the views so that they could get into the most viewed area.

Yes that would be a great answer, but they are already in the top view and far beyond anyone else, I have been tracking them over time and they continually get 300-500 views a day. There would be no reason for them to continue to pay for views.

They buy trash traffic and xrumer/scrapebox blasts. When I use scrapebox I usually get 1000 UV per day but most of these are angry webmasters . Anyway they are unique views and they work great for me.

What is the purpose in continuing to push the views up to 90,000, once you are in the most viewed area. I understand using these tool to get into the most viewed section but what is the reason to continue with the junk traffic or bot hits.

Not always true, I have seen many articles that are in the most viewed never really get any views, tons of internal links but no real views.

There are those that can get views up above 40,000 with every article they submit. So just because you are in the most viewed doesn't mean you will be getting tons of views.

I have many articles in most published and most viewed and I mimicked the titles and keywords but still don't have the views they are getting.

Well in the process of building thousands of links with scrapebox and xrumer your article will get front page for some pretty good keywords. Then you will start to get natural traffic from google. At least thats how it works for me.

Creating links and pointing them to your article will get you natural traffic from google and it is a good strategy. What I am seeing with these other articles is the following.

1. They have no other links accept the internal links from ezine articles.
2. They have external links as a by product from ezine article internal link structure.
3. There are no other external links pointing to these articles.

and they still receive tons of traffic way more than others.

You need to hide the referrer for the junk traffic
I thought of the youtube video, but that should show up as an external link to the article, but I have not seen this.

If you'd like to try to mimic this, I'd suggest giving some traffic sellers in the BST section a try. You can get like 10,000 views for 10$. It may, or may not work but it would defintley be worth a shot.

But ya, make sure you handle the referrer correctly if you do.

I am not looking to purchase traffic, I am wondering how these articles get so many views once they are in the most viewed section.

For example. If articles have the 1 & 2 spots of the most viewed and these articles are by the same author these have over 40,000 views, the spots 3-10 only have 1000-1500 views. The 40,000 viewed articles receive 300-500 views a day and the 7 articles receive 10 views a day. When you look at the links the links are almost exactly the same. At this point the two article in the first two spots no longer need to pay to get into the most viewed since they are already there, these articles continue to get 300-500 views while the other most viewed article do not. Some of these 40,000 viewed articles reach 70,000-90,000 views.

I have articles in the most viewed and some of them have over 3000 internal links from ezine but I do not see the views they are getting.

They could be getting traffic from a link that is not showing up in the backlink tools.

They might be ranking for a variety of phrases that don't seem to obvious as they might not be in the title of the page.

It's quite obvious what they are doing. They are faking there view count. This is easily achieved by using different types of software, although making the views look real is another story...

I understand faking the views but what is the point of faking views up to 40,000, 50,000, 90,000, this doesn't make sense to me.

Some will fake, (so check the CTR - I get 8%+ on Ezine, I bet these guys get less than 1% - unless they fake that as well)

But a REAL way to do this is to treat your ezine article like it was a web2.0 property (which in all senses it is) and boosk the links in it. Bookmark it, RSS it and backlink it with a xrumer blast of a cheap link packet.

Turn a shit hole link into a powerhouse one. Wait (sometimes weeks) and the traffic will come (if it's a decent article)

Promote your articles. Chances are the big G hasn't even indexed most of them - and won't unless you do something about it.

My CTR is just over 12% combined for all my articles... some do really well and some blow chunks.

You absolutely have to build backlinks to those articles for several reasons... you want them indexed, you want others to publish them around the web with your backlink in the resource box and you want that article to get some page rank so the link in it gives you more juice.
