Reddit brought More Conversions Than Facebook Ads

I tested Reddit as a traffic source for one of my projects over the last few weeks. Instead of direct promotion, I focused on answering questions, joining discussions and providing useful information. The traffic volume was lower than Facebook, but the conversion rate was much better.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I've used reddit since the early 2010s.

Facebook nor Google has brought me the same success. Not saying they can't but when you hit a 'sweet spot' on reddit, ............ awww mann....... It's like losing your virginity all over, almost every time. And it keeps getting better and better

I think it's because people discover you naturally through the discussion instead of feeling like they're being advertised to. That trust makes a big difference.

I think it depends on the niche too. Some products do great on Facebook, but for problem-solving niches Reddit can be a goldmine because people already have a need.

You shouldn't be suprised reddit drive more traffic simply because reddit don't have that level of shadowbanning and showing the content to less peoples and check how long they watch to decide if they are going to show to other peoples and so on. With reddit once your post get tractions are seeing by a lot of peoples

While being helpful to others your account/accounts become a valuable asset for yourself. That's the normal though, if you help out a person he/she will try to repay the favor so yeah that's why your conversion rate is higher.

Reddit traffic is usually smaller but the intent is often much higher because people are already looking for solutions.

yeah, reddit feels slower on volume but cleaner on intent.
conversions tend to be way higher because the people clicking already trust you a bit.

reddit is king when it comes to this. You can make a lot of money if you work slowly and don't rush things. A ton of people are making money from affiliates right now. Remember, Reddit is banning a lot of people, so if you know what you are doing, Reddit has basically removed your competition and you have more power

It a 100% yes when you hit a very interesting conversation there.
