Scrapebox on them.

I've seen other people post experiences where they've built a few hundred links in Scrapebox and now they're hitting No.1 for 10 keywords and making thousands of hits per day.

I've used it on 6 sites so far using slightly different methods on each to mix it up. But every single one has dropped out of the SERPS completely.

Has anyone had this happen to them? So far Scrapebox has been the touch of death to my sites!

I've read al the tips and watched the vids. I use private proxies for posting, mix the blogs up, high quality, etc.

I did get a boost in rankings for 3 of the sites but they dropped a couple of days later.

Sites are all 6-12 months old.

Just build on, don't stop. It's normal sometimes that you drop back and come back later on a higher position.

Thanks. I keep telling myself that. I had it happen to 2 sites in the past. Its just hard to deal with when it happens to 6 sites all at once (3x different servers). And I come on here to see people saying they got mega results in 1 day.

Makes me wonder if I pissed off fate or something.

Actually, dropping out of the SERPs almost immediately is a sign that the technique IS working because Google are reassessing where to position your site again.

I know what you mean, I've the same with some websites. Dropped out of the serps for a few days or sometimes even a week or more. But come back hard on #1.

But just build on and also don't forget to update and change your website once a week.

The new Google Algorithm change with the instant feature is the end of Scrapebox's commenting feature I believe.

A few of my sites using Scrapebox have been sandboxed, and some were a few years old.

I think Google now is smart enough to see where the latest backlinks of websites are from, and if they see a lot of links on that page, then they penalize for spam and reduce your site's rankings.

So with this new change, I also believe that now is possible for competitors to use this to their advantage.

Some people are going to use scrapebox to build hundreds of thousands of backlinks for their competitors and get them sandboxed.

I think it's stupid on Google's part, but then again it's speculation, however, it seems to hold weight.

Matt Cutts specifically said backlinks from blog comments are not penalized because of the possibility of spamming with competitors links

If you pissed off fate you wouldn't of been born, but like they said, just be persistent and your efforts will pay off, if they don't then maybe fate has a different plan for you, or you're an unlucky person.

bobbylove321,

I usually trust your statements, especially concerning Scrapebox, but I'm having doubts on this one.

First, why do you think that this is related to Google Instant? Even if Google is penalizing blog comment spam as of now, it has nothing to do with Google Instant. They might have introduced both "features" at the same time though.

Second, as already stated by timmytim, it would make it just to easy to get your competition blacklisted. I don't think Google wants the blog spam (or any spam) to increase by a couple of 100% because everyone is trying to shoot his competitors.

Regards,
Steve

+1 for the panda

and it's a gross generalisation to say that goog instant will kill anything....yeah it looks like Big G rolled out some other changes that are effecting SEO, but I don't see them ever fundamentally deploying something that would let anyone spam the fark out of someone else's site - it would be *so* prone to abuse....

it's not the tool, it's the way people use it

edit: oh and one other thing, don't rely on any single tool or method for building backlinks and driving traffic; sbox is da bomb, but if you rely on only one way, you're tipping your hand to the monitors...mix things up....keep building....ever forward....

It takes time to learn (no knock on the app, it's just it can do so much it takes time).

Free advice I've given before in other threads:

1 - pick a few pieces of the functionality you want to learn and start learning them really well - then while doing that and *before* you start blasting the world do these other steps:
2 - read the official usage guide
3 - watch the youtube channel's videos
4 - watch loopline's videos
5 - read through the BST thread - yes, all of it, I know it's long but there's a tonne of good info in there, after a bit you'll be able to skim thru the 98th time someone posts "what are proxy?" or "how much it costeds?"

Then run tests either on your own sites or a friendly fellow bhatter's site (with their permission and knowledge of course). That's the best way to see if you're doing it right.

peace - gregs.

it happened to my site too, i was getting 600 to 800 unique per day, then after 2 weeks boom, google sandbox my site and now it gets 25 to 30 unique per day. :(

I wasn't a believer of the Google Sandbox until the day I noticed my site stopped showing up when I did an exact mydomain.com search in google. I've been playing in the sand for 2 months now.

Are doing any autoblogging or using a lot of dupe content?

Welcome to the box!

always always always protect your money sites.
i dont say never link to your money sites but ffs use some buffer sites too

Iv heard its very common to disappear from the serps and then reappear higher.

Again this same talk....

Google dance always happens when you start link building.

If links hurt,Just open a SandBox service and you will be rich.

Wait 5-10 days, and your sites will back,if not congratulations you have a method to be rich, start your service now.
