Over the past few weeks, I've been testing different ways to get B2B customers for a SaaS product.

Cold email and LinkedIn outreach have helped me start conversations, but I noticed something interesting.

Businesses are much more willing to listen when the introduction comes from someone they already trust.

So instead of focusing only on direct outreach, I've started reaching out to consultants, agencies, recruiters, IT service providers, and other businesses that already work with my target audience.

The idea is simple:

  • They introduce qualified businesses.
  • I handle the demo, onboarding, and support.
  • If the customer signs up, they receive recurring commission.
It's still early, but the response rate has been noticeably better than pitching companies directly.

For those who sell B2B services or SaaS:

  • Have partnerships outperformed cold outreach for you?
  • What type of partners have generated the highest-quality leads?
  • Any lessons you'd recommend before investing more time into this channel?
I'd love to hear real experiences from people who have already built a successful partner network.

This is one of those ideas that are golden. I will use this fr.

From my experience, strategic partnerships always produce more qualified leads compared to cold leads as there is already some level of trust.

Partnerships work well when ones that target the same market but do not compete with each other.

Have you had any agency or consultant provide you with the highest number of conversions so far?
