Billion Dollar Brands Are Now Aggressively on Reddit | My subreddit is doing 3.1M Visitors per month, this is whats happening now

Wow.

So I was shocked to see a single Billion Dollar brand pop up, suddenly posting on my SFW subreddit.

Now, there's multiple big brands. It feels as if I hit a threshold and since some link posts are reaching 100k+ views , the major outlets want in.

Recently I had some posts about the WorldCup go viral, 3 doing nearly 1M views and taking up key virtual estate (SERPs) in Google Search for related terms.

DailyMail, TheMirror, some others are posting from their verified accounts.

The Stats of my Sub right now - Would you all consider these fairly good for a SFW / general news subreddit? It's not niche but i do target popular culture.

Things have gone so well, I'm planning to turn this into an entire brand and have an eComm store on the side .

Also trying to find a way to merge my actual subreddit content into the website.

If not that, maybe Facebook (if this still works) to get more social media spread.


The last part of the puzzle, I'm going to build a platform similar to Reddit through my site to hopefully begin creating my own database of users and really own my brand completely/

The content is pretty general, but I still target a particular type of reader -- As I created the entire genre online, founding the first site of a niche this group likes, back in 2004. I want to use that experience/knowledge to create and sell products on my website, related to that niche I know they love.

Yeah, Im trying to rush to get something done and start relying on the site for income and going back private. Really just focused on managing the project by hiring people i think can handle work at my level in skill sets needed (or better)

Thats a given on reddit. If it wasn't, people wouldn't subscribe to the sub.

I moreso am worried about long-term funding everything successfully. I have a lot of talent around me currently. Great timing.

But I have a lot going on from tourism sites (trying to become an economic influencer), reddits, and im trying to build a social media platfomr.

Working on this now. I want to be self-efficient with earnings.

Get traffic to my own platform and turn it into a profitable brand.

I feel I wont make real money directly unless I had far more subscribers.

The biggest challenge will be focus and sustainability having many opportunities is great but execution matters more than ideas.
