I stepped outside yesterday and immediately regretted every life choice. The air was thick enough to chew. My car's steering wheel burned my soul. And yet, people in Arizona call this "a little warm." At what temperature does complaining become a survival instinct?

Last month, parts of Europe were so hot that roads softened and tram tracks buckled under the heat. Makes you wonder how much infrastructure can really handle before it starts giving up.

I was talking about it before you even started the car. The moment you sit down, the seat feels like it's burning your skin, and the steering wheel is so hot you can barely hold it.

The people I really feel sorry for are construction workers, delivery drivers, farmers, and anyone who has to spend their entire day working outdoors. They have it much tougher than the rest of us.

Too much heat or too much rain both can keep you stuck indoors. I guess every region has its own weather struggles.
