My only issue with Paypal is that they don't pay interests for citizens outside USA. That really sucks, because even with 1% interest rate I would be earning $1.25 for the one year my money staying in the account without touching them.
Transferring the money to deposit bank account will cost me more than the interests I will be earning if they stay one year untouched in the bank.
That double sucks.

PayPal is a joke. I still find it unbelievable that they can freeze accounts for no good reason. I had my account limited and it took weeks to get it back (had to send them drivers license, passport, bills, etc.). From now on I just keep enough in there for business expenses.

there is a solution, but I am not sure how customers feel about it. You can set up a merchant account and take credit cards directly. I am mulling over it, but I am afraid of alienating potential customers who are used to paypal.

It may not work with all that money but my account has been limited two or three times and all I did to get it back was to send email letter saying how they are amongst the dirtiest biz on the planet and come up with any exuse to limit my account so they can get interest on my 100 or so dollars AND THEY ARE A DISGRACE, and ONE person WILL take the advantage and UNLIMIT MY ACCOUNT. SIMPLE KEEP PLUGGING HORRIBLE LETTERS TO THEM WORKS FOR ME

Everyone jumping on the "PayPal is shit" bandwagon doesn't know what they're talking about.

Even if this guy had been using a merchant account directly with a bank, chances are they would have blocked or limited him once they saw such an insane jump in transactions.

No payment processor on the planet is going to let close to a million dollars through in a matter of weeks without a ton of red flags been raised. Especially considering it's coming from such a small company or invidual.
