in my thought , they may loess upto 20% as many reddit marketer have a bulk quantity of accounts.
If Reddit requires ID verification, how bad will things get.

Fine, let them do it, i hate reddit anyway.
One of the things that i really hate is that it basically makes it impossible for 2 people to carry on a long conventioneer, because it compresses their posts more and more as they post more replies, until it becomes completely unreadable.
Back in the day when there were forums all over the place, you could find glorious conversations that go on for pages and pages. Now that reddit is more or less the only "forum" out there, you can't have that on there.
It's a piece of shit. I hope they do ID verification so that the site can die and be replaced by another, or a few others.

No exaggeration I suspect a lot of work arounds but for normies easily a 70-80% drop. Lots of bots anyway but the whole reason Reddit is as good as it is is bc it lets people talk openly about most things without it being tied to anything besides their ideas/thoughts for better or worse.

If Reddit required identity verification, I think millions of people would leave the app and switch to another platform, simply because they wouldn't want to do it, or they wouldn't have the equipment to take photos of the required quality.

ID verification won't be required for everyone, it'll be required only for users who are suspected to be underage and to fight bots and automation

You sound too optistimc.
Why would they invest in trying to sepárate young from old? Why take the legal risk? 1000 accounts slip through and a government might sue them for $100 billion.

True, bold thinkers dont even wish to communicate publicly because nothing is serious anymore without a clown popping up.
