Tips to grow my subreddit

A few months ago, I created a subreddit based on a discussion in the comments on another thread. It gained traction, with 1,000+ members joining. Initially, there was lots of traction and visits. However, now the subreddit is dead, with barely any visitors or posts. How do I kickstart it to life again, any ideas?

you can use other accs to just create "fake" sort of activity

Use headlines that will gain traffic from Search Engines.

You need an initial push for sure. Without that, it's not easy to grow. Build some accounts, keep posting trending topics, and have discussions. That's the way to go!

I think the hardest part is getting people to post again. I would probably start by posting something myself every few days and asking simple questions that are easy to reply to.If people see the subreddit is active again, they are more likely to join the conversation instead of just leaving.

Start by posting consistently yourself again. A dead subreddit usually needs 1–2 weeks of regular, high quality posts from the owner to restart activity.
