Hi, I’d like to ask e-commerce advertisers: are you still using Google to run relevant ads? Because I lost some of my clients this year. Are TikTok and Meta the mainstream platforms now?

Look forward to hearing more of your thoughts.

From what I’m seeing, Google is still strong for high-intent traffic, but a lot of advertisers are definitely splitting budgets more toward Meta and TikTok for cheaper reach and scaling. It’s less about one replacing the other and more about using them together based on funnel stage. If you lost clients, it might be worth checking if they shifted spend rather than fully left Google.

Yes, it's profitable, and we're doing it. The ROI can reach 1:10.

Nah man it's dead.

There's absolutely zero ecom companies running profitable ads on Google ads.

(I'm being sarcastic of course it works lol).

Still using Google, but yeah it’s gotten tougher and more expensive this year. I lost a couple clients too.
For most ecom brands I work with, Meta + TikTok have become the main drivers now. Google is more for bottom-funnel / search intent stuff.
It really depends on the niche and product though. What are you selling?
