I'd love to know the secrets of client hunting on LinkedIn. I've been working on LinkedIn for the last 6 months. It's been wonderful experience out there, I got nearly 3K followers but yet to get clients. Let's discuss this here.

You mean that we need to posts on LinkedIn by showing that we have clients to attract the real clients. Is it so?

Have you approached anyone so far?

So it's just like BHW where we cannot sell directly unless we are junior VIP or premium member.?
Nope, When users/clients see your posts they come in your chat message on linkedin but before doing posts please make connect with other countries people so linkedin also show your post to them and you will get inquiries in your chat.

@Tawab Khan SEO those 3k followers are probably mostly other SEOs and freelancers... that is usually what happens when you build an audience without a specific funnel. showing earnings and client chats can work but it also looks kinda spammy and cheap if you overdo it.

instead of just posting and waiting, you should start doing outbound. search for founders or marketing heads in a specific niche, find a quick issue on their site, and send them a short message about how to fix it. inbound takes forever but direct outreach gets you clients next week if your offer is decent.

Getting followers is a great milestone, but clients usually come from conversations, not content alone. In my experience, understanding a prospect's problem and building relationships through meaningful engagement often works better than directly pitching services. Consistency, targeted networking, and personalized outreach make a huge difference. Best of luck on your journey!

You can invite people who have something in common (for example the same university),to coffee or virtual coffee and get to network and know them.

have you tried contacting these clients to turn followers into leads

I run ads on LinkedIn and send direct messages. Although the results haven't fully met my expectations, I've still been able to acquire customers using this approach.

So many times followed up with website and programming related clients on linkedin, but they rarely convert. Maybe leads convert into other industries better.

yeah, followers don’t always mean buyers. i’d pick one niche, connect with decision makers there, then send short messages around a specific problem instead of just posting general seo content.

Expand your network by connecting with more people and regularly sending personalized direct messages to reach potential clients.

If you can go multichannel and do an email/LinkedIn outbound campaign, you can get some good traction. It takes repetition and a ton of patience. I might go after someone on LI for a couple weeks, have two conversations and like a bunch of their posts, before I pitch them. Even then, it's very casual and more like "hey, I was working with someone who had ____ problem last week and it reminded me of you, lmk if you'd ever be open to a conversation, would love to help you," than "hey your stuff sucks, buy my product"

You need a solid plan to build a strong personal profile, create viral content, and combine it with personalized direct messages to find potential customers on LinkedIn.

There is a difference between building an audience nd turning that audience into clients. What I have observed is that genuine conversations nd genuine engagement tend to make a bigger difference than the number of followers. Busiiness comes after trust.
