I'm looking to purchase a tool to automate some backlink building for some articles I have posted on an article directory. I know I need to build some backlinks for these articles but want to get the best results I can so would profile backlinks or blog comments blogs be better? I've got about 45k articles posted online I need to build backlinks for.

I was just thinking on this question today...

Scrapebox used to be very effective to get backlinks a while ago when very few people trusted the tool and paid for it... At this point, if you don`t write your comments manually or you`re a scrape genius then the quality of your backlinks is very little to none.

Don`t get me wrong... It is still a great tool for a lot of other services but i think profile backlinks are better at this point when it comes to link building . It involves the same method ( linkjuice from a high PR domain ) but it has a less number of OBL.

In general, i think that a profile backlink worth around 10-15 scrapebox comments ( in my case )

What would you recommend for a good profile backlinking software?

Xrumer, if you can afford it.

I find profile links helped my site far more than Scrapebox links.

If you can't purchase Xrumer because it's expensive, then higher someone like the following 2 people to do 10k blast for you:

SickSubmitter if you can`t afford xrumer; or if you want xrumer blast you can outsource it for as little as 100$ for 60.000 profiles... or cheaper : 50$ for 15.000... Prices varies but this are the rates i`m currently paying for.

Mix up your methods - don't rely on any single tool, app, or method for your backlinks. Constantly build backlinks with a variety of means.

Tools are great if used properly, and sbox is one of the best values out there in terms of value and quality. And what all it can do. But you also want to mix things up some.

Manual profile backlink is better than scrape box commenting, I used to use scrapebox for commenting but there are always many unapproved comments if compare with approved ones.

Agreed, if you don't know how to use SB effectively then you will get disappointed. Like me I don't know how to use it properly.:D

well i find that doing a big scrapebox blast on some AGED domains...and then some hand made profile backlinks on high pr websites does the trick for me

i got over 20k backlinks different domains, all for an easy keyword with no competition, all from scrapebox, didn't change a thing in my serps.

Did you do that all at once? I'm pretty sure that would do you a lot of good if you spaced it out and maintained it.

I suggest you to outsource some profile links, done manually on high PR websites.

I own Xrumer but I still outsource manual profile links for cheap cause profiles from Xrumer tend to be on low PR sites and carry less value. So, if I have to rank for some competitive kws I rather throw a few dozens/hundreds $ and be more confident. Over time I have come up with a list of high PR sites that tend not to delete my profiles (i.e. 90 out of 100 are still there after a few months) so I just hit the guy and order a manual blast on my custom list.

Just make sure your outsourcer knows the difference between do.follow and nofollow backlinks, understands what you teach him and he's realiable (most cases they aren't, in my experience).
You may want to test out a few of them with some small orders, then check their reports and see how they are doing. Then pick the best.

Scrapebox can be very helpful, it's actually a tool that comes in handy frequently for stuff like checking outsourcers' reports, PR of websites in bulk, URLs indexed, scraping proxies et cetera. In your case though, for backlinking purposes, I suggest to avoid it and look for profile links. (but if you have 60 bucks to spare buy it, it's a one time payment and you'll be amazed by how many things it comes helpful with.)

Backlinking with SB (and getting good results I mean, not just blasting near-to-worthless comments) ain't the easiest way and entails a learning curve to be successful at it (with good peace of all the folks that buy it and expect to have the magic SEO button at their disposal, all they need is scrape and comment, scrape and comment).

Just a hint on that: go for high PR pages and as second choice, High PR domains (if your comment isn't on HIGH page, it will still benefit of the authority of the domain).

Summing up: profile links from HIGH PR domains. The more the better.
