Hello everyone,

I have an Amazon KDP account in a name different than mine. Is there any way I can receive payments from this account?

Are there any online banks that don't care about the name of the received payment?

I already contacted kdp support and asked if I can use a different name than the kdp account holder in the "getting paid" section, and they said no.

Thank you.

I think the names must match to make sure payments go through without problems. If the names don’t match, payment could get delayed or rejected.

If the name mismatch is minor (like initials or missing second name), some banks still clear it. But if it’s a completely different name, most traditional banks will bounce it or freeze. People use Payoneer for this — they don’t always match name strictly for incoming payments, especially if it's under a business account. Wise used to be more flexible but got tighter this year.

That's the problem I am having, I am looking for online banks that may allow mismatched names between them and kdp.

In the "Getting Paid" section in kdp, let's say I have the same name on kdp and payoneer, but the addresses and DOB are different, will payoneer accept the payment in this case?

did you found a solution for this?
What I did is I used my real name and bank details in the "getting paid" section, even if they are different than the KDP account's details.

It worked, but I don't know if it will work now.

Hey would you please update on this, as I did the same thing.

The account is still working with no issues, and I receive payments on time. All good.

there's no reliable loophole here. the real fix is getting the account ownership and payment details aligned properly. chasing banks that ignore mismatched names is a short-term solution that often turns into a bigger headache when payouts or verification checks arrive.
