How to Set Up a LLC in USA for Non-Residents + US Bank Account (all sources shared)

Just a quick update to this thread as i see many BHW members found this thread helpful!

Relayfi bank still works. U get a bank account and a debit card that will be shipped to your LLC address. After that you may forward the card to your own address worldwide!

I use this bank very rarely (on small amounts, 200-300$/month) as i already have a Chase bank account. So dont take this a financial advice

how much money you had to pay in fees to maintain the LLC every year

Just give an estimate of your accounting cost and tax filling you pay every year.
If you don't live in the US that's not something you should be worried about
Just pay someone about $300 to file your taxes every year and that’s it, they won't ask any questions if it's done correctly.

edit: This isn’t financial advice, and I’m not encouraging tax evasion or anything like that. I’m just saying that in practice, they don’t usually check much for foreigners as long as everything is filed properly

In theory you are right but is not that easy :)

You can get fcuked after some years unless you keep changing LLCs... Might be easier if you live in a 3rd world country cuz they dont follow up :smirk:

Yeah an option could be to close the LLC every year and open a new one..

Its pretty easy, $100 on fiverr.

Mercury states it does not accept virtual address, po boxes, address services etc. What address did you use? I cant see how to resolve this since my LLC uses ipostal.
Use the adress of your registered agent if you have one. It works perfectly

Hello everyone! My LLC was recently approved by Mercury (non-resident), and I have successfully linked it to my eBay account.
However, I’m concerned because I previously used WorldFirst (JPMorgan Chase accounts) for payouts, and eBay suspended those accounts after about a month. In my tests, only the WorldFirst batch triggered suspensions.
My biggest worry now is a name mismatch. Has anyone here successfully received long-term eBay payouts using Mercury as a non-resident? Any advice on avoiding another suspension would be greatly appreciated!
Meanwhile Wise with USD details works perfectly with missmatch details

All these company foundation agents and lawyers =riffraffs, charging oversea clients or from europe 3-4x times the price but the paperwork is the same.

Mercury is fine as long as you're using it correctly, I've received around 150k and they never asked for paperwork or anything.
I can't vouch for the others, I have opened accounts but I don't use them. I only use Mercury and one other bank.
Mercury bank is good for high recurring monthly income with lemony squeeze of $40-60k or they freezing my money?

I am building an AI tool (what a surprise these days, right?) that analyzes comments like those in this long thread and provides ideas for solutions and potential monetization. I tested it with this one, and the suggestions, particularly the most valuable ideas that the AI can handle from A to Z, are simply incredible.

I reviewed 595 comment rows. The strongest signals are very clear:
  • Taxes/compliance is the biggest fear: “tax” appears ~130 times; Form 5472, 1120, accountant/CPA questions, double taxation, EU/Germany concerns, and “what happens if I don’t file?” appear repeatedly.
  • Banking/payment access is the second major pain: Mercury, Relay, Wise, PayPal, Stripe, ITIN/SSN, bank rejection, foreign IP, account holds, and high-risk products appear constantly.
  • People want a cheap path, but they do not trust cheap information: many comments compare $199, $500, $700, resellers, scam concerns, and “what is included?”
  • The comments are full of outdated or conflicting advice, so the biggest opportunity is not “sell LLC formation only.” The bigger opportunity is a decision-support platform + vetted compliance workflow.

Important: this should be positioned as educational and operational support, not legal/tax advice. For example, IRS guidance confirms foreign-owned entities may have Form 5472 reporting issues when reportable transactions occur, and international EIN applicants have specific official application routes.

The sky is the limit. Let's not waste time. Thanks to AI and, most importantly, to hundreds of hours of watching YouTube, I was able to pivot. I only have a few working hours each day, so it’s up to me to focus on what is important and eliminate tasks that consume time without generating any income.

That is why I am leaving behind "good ideas" based on feelings and now tracking interesting ideas based on data.

Pivot your time and leave the rest behind. Today is a great day to start.
