I am completely disagree to you
I donno which country you from but this not the real case of what you said
As i am 19 yr old
I know i am from good family background but having 2mil by even 40 even possible for me to get no matter whatever i will do
You said invest s&p but the crash you complelyforget that 2008 one
Let me say this more the bitcoin u talking is not make sense at all to me how i am suppose to put my whole life saving into these care to tell me
@splishsplash
Sry for my bad english
What's the 2008 crash got to do with anything?
You're saying things, but it has no bearing on my advice unless you actually explain why my reasoning is wrong and why as it relates to the 2008 crash.
If you dumped $2mil in the exact worst day of the pre-2008 crash your wealth would look like:
You bought: Oct 9, 2007.
By March 9 2009 you're worth $894k - Considering you're on a 20-30 year plan I wouldn't be the slightest bit concerned here.
Dec 31 2010 you're at $1.7m
Dec 31 2015: $3.1m
Dec 31 2020: $6.3m
Today: $13.8m
Yeah, you'd be absolutely fine. You'd be sitting on $14 million today if you'd dumped $2mil into the s&p 500 on the WORST day of the crash, AND you did it in 1 whole day instead of DCA'ing over a period of a year.
For starters, I don't think you've read this whole thread based on your response. I'm not going to repeat myself. If you don't have the patience to work through the guidance I gave, and potentially read some of my other threads and ask me REAL questions then quite frankly your chances of even making $50k online by age 30 are slim to none.
The 25 year olds who are millionaires are fucking savage. They don't act the way you do.
What you did here was default to "I'm going to find a way to prove that this is BS"
This is the POLAR OPPOSITE of what the savages do.
You tell them "You suck. You can't make money. You're a failure. The market is crap. You need a rich family. You need a 150 IQ" and they respond by laughing at you then going off to bank cash.
Because no matter what you say to them, their brain defaults to "These people are poor and negative. This isn't the reality. I will make money".
You and most others do the opposite. When a successful person tells you something positive, you default to "No, he's wrong, this positivity is BS, a scam. The reality is I can't make money. Life is hard"
Instead of coming here and trying your "gotchya" about the 2008 crash, you should have come here and asked "I'm 19. I don't have any skills. What should my next move be?"
