I recently started learning more about blogging and SEO, but honestly the more I read, the more confusing it feels. Some people say blogging is still profitable, while others say Google updates and AI content have made it much harder for beginners. I am want to hear from people who are actively doing blogging in 2026.

Is it still worth learning and growing a blog from scratch today?

Yes it's still worth it but only if you focus on a specific niche, build real topical authority, and write for humans not algorithms, generic blogs are dead but targeted ones still print money in 2026.

That actually make sense. But I am curious to know how long does it usually take now for a new niche blog to start getting noticeable organic traffic, if done properly.

Yes, blogging is still worth starting in 2026, but the approach has changed a lot. I think It's harder now if you just publish generic AI content and expect fast rankings

Yes, blogging is till worth learning because it builds long term digital assets, even is SEO changes, A blog can help to grow an audience, build credibility, promote services or products, and can earn affiliate income.

Blogging is still profitable in 2026 but I'll advice you to not focus on SEO only, study GEO too so you can optimize your content for AI models to cite and recommend in conversational answers.

I'm going to say the opposite, but I don't think it's worth it anymore, especially for a beginner

Yes, but only if you treat your blog as a hub and distribute content via newsletters and social channels instead of relying 100% on Google

it can be 1-3 months until you get out of sandbox. 3-6months you start to see traction and how you rank for the keywords. Keep in mind that without link building the right way it will be really hard. best of luck

yes, blogging is profitable in 2026, but a lot has change it has very much more difficult. please human written content, get high quality backlinks. you will get good ranking.

I am still building new sites, but not at a scale I used to. Also I would highly suggest to create your own course or product you can actually sell to your audience.. and dedinetly capture emails or phone numbers. Since from SEO and maybe even social media sites you will receive less and less traffic

I am also still learning, but I think blogging is still worth it if you focus on real helpful content and stay consistent.

Yes, blogging is still worth it in 2026 but it's slower and more competitive now. If you focus on helpful content, real experience and consistency blog can still grow and make money

It's still worth starting, but it will be harder than before due to competition and the prevalence of AI. If you're going to blog, you should choose a clear niche instead of writing about too many different topics. Build truly useful content, based on real-world experience and addressing readers' needs and be persistent for a few months before you see results.

yes, it still worth in 2026, but logging works best when combined with email marketing, social media, or a personal brand.

Blogging still works in 2026, niche-focused blogs with real authority and human-first content are winning, while generic sites are fading out.

In my opinion, blogging is still a valuable skill to have by 2026 Yet the standards should differ from the old "write 100 posts and wait for the ads money" mindset. It seems to be more difficult, but not dead. Google updates, AI-generated content, and competitors have Really made the challenge higher, In particular for general content.

Still, the most successful blogs are those who establish themselves as a trusted source on a topic, address the needs of their readers and offer something that is more helpful or unique than what is already available. Still, it is possible for small blogs to thrive, but in most cases, they win with specialization, strong branding communities email lists, or a mix of SEO and other platforms like Reddit, YouTube, or social media instead of solely given Google.
