I never expected this to happen to me, especially with a platform as large as Binance.

My Binance account was suddenly restricted from trading without any clear explanation. I have never engaged in fraud, money laundering, market manipulation, or any risky activity. I’m just a normal user who uses Binance mainly for daily spending, transfers, and basic crypto transactions.

What’s most frustrating is:

No clear reason was provided

Customer support only gives automated or generic responses

My funds are effectively locked from normal use

There is no transparency about the review process or timeline

I fully understand compliance and security checks are necessary, but restricting normal users without evidence or proper communication is unacceptable.

For years, Binance has promoted itself as a trusted and user-friendly platform. But when something goes wrong, ordinary users seem to have no real protection or efficient support.

If anyone else has experienced similar issues with Binance, feel free to share your experience.

I hope Binance can take this seriously and provide a real solution instead of endless automated replies.

This happened to me too. My account was blocked at a time when I was doing a lot of P2P trading. They give you a time limit to withdraw your money, and you can withdraw it within that time.

Happened with me a couple of years ago.

Binance operates kinda like PayPal now. PP bans you if they figure you are using your account for social media-related services (buying views, followers)

I got banned from Binance because I ran altcoin-related services. If they figure you are engaging in certain activities like running paid channels, call channels, or anything remotely similar, they will ban you. If you have incoming transactions straight to your Binance wallet from someone who runs such services, you are at risk of getting banned.

The way Binance works now is that anyone can make "scam" complaints against your wallet without providing much proof, and they will restrict the accounts pretty easily.

That sounds really frustrating, especially when you rely on the platform for normal transactions and suddenly lose access without clear communication.

Large exchanges like often trigger automated compliance or risk-review systems, and unfortunately support responses can feel very generic during those reviews.

Hopefully your case gets escalated properly soon. Keeping records of transactions, verification documents, and support ticket history usually helps if additional review is requested. Wishing you a quick resolution.

Brother, how long did it take for your withdrawal function to be enabled after the review process?

That was my mistake. As an active crypto user, I should be using a wallet instead of an exchange.

It usually happens quickly. When your account is closed and you log back in, you can see your assets. When you click the "Request Withdrawal" button, your account is automatically reopened temporarily.

The system didn’t clearly state that the account was banned. It only said that certain features were restricted. I tested withdrawals and they don’t work, so I think the account hasn’t been fully banned yet.

Have you tried speaking with live support? They guide you and provide information about your account.

I contacted them, but after two days they only replied asking me to wait.

If they ask you to wait 2 days, that's normal; I waited 2 days too, and my account was temporarily opened to receive the funds.

It’s already the third day, and there’s still no reply.

You know what they say right? Not your keys not your money. Next time you should use an exchange remember to send your crypto to wallets that you own in order to be safe.

Yes, it’s mainly because most people get into exchanges before learning about wallets. So after using exchanges for a long time without any issues, they gradually lose their sense of risk awareness—until something finally goes wrong.

First, have you had any other activities lately?
For example, the Bitcoin that someone sent you may have too high an AML score, and they need to do a more detailed analysis. They may ask for additional KYC information or SOF.

A few years ago, the country I'm from got on the FATF blacklist, and all accounts were suspended on Binance (not only mine). After a week, we were removed from the blacklist. I contacted Binance to ask them about the further fate, and it happened that they answered me very quickly, and already that day, this geo ban was removed. I don't know if I accelerated the matter, but it was obvious that they react quickly if the evidence is clear.

I've seen similar cases before. Usually, exchanges don't provide detailed reasons due to compliance or risk policies. Keep following up with support and make sure all verification documents are up to date. Hopefully Binance resolves your case soon and restores full access to your funds.

In the end, they allowed me to withdraw the account balance, but the account was permanently banned.

i lived this few years ago, i never had any kind of explanations from them... My account was not even very active i believe it was like 6-8 months sleeping with no activity then got banned.

Perhaps your account was reported by someone for violating the rules. I’ve experienced a similar situation myself, and I no longer use Binance because of it.

You're not alone. Many users have faced similar restrictions. Keep following up with support and complete any verification requests. Hope Binance resolves it soon.
