Every platform I visit daily is ruined by AI somehow. Even BHW.

Now it says "Suspected AI and awaiting for mod approval". On every thread or post we try to make. It will do it even to this thread.

For example, in other anonym question platform, AI is checking out if your content is appropriate or not, then deletes your question automatically. And I am on that website for 13 years also.

So hard to find human generated quality content on social media or YouTube these days.

AI starts ruining everything related to humans, it was supposed to develop and improve everything.

The staff can see the score but I don't believe anyone else can.

I know it can be annoying to someone who is just posting but the AI tool that is in place helps keep the forum clean and is being tweaked on a regular basis to make it more effective and less annoying.

I don't know about other sites, platforms, etc., as to what they are doing, but the IT team, along with Miss @PetraAnn, are working hard to make this a friendlier environment when it comes to AI spam.

AI has completely fumbled the space, feels too artificial now. Dont get me wrong it has its use case but the amount of robotic AI comments spamming this forum, reddit, X etc has made going on the apps less fun.

Not true
You been one sided

I just did a UI on lovable under 20 minutes
Thesame ui could have been done by developers for more than two months
,so while we have people using it for spamming
There are people still using it for many good stuff

but AI score is not really accurate tho, as you know it shows that bible is Ai generated lol.

And that is why the IT team is working to make the process cleaner for the community.

I went to a friend's office recently and found an indoor plant. I thought it was a plastic plant until I noticed a leaf withering away from the end. It reminded me of the internet with AI. Everyone is forcing everything to be perfect to the extent that it's all looking artificial. The internet I know has grammatical mistakes in personal blogs, people on forums have distinct personalities, social media is all about personal lives and shared experiences, and then there is hope. In a perfect world there is no need for hope. People trying to create a perfect world will end up creating a hopeless one.

It gonna be much and much more worse, and its normal... thats life man, we came from nothing and we will end as humanity with nothing. Enjoy what u can now:) soon everything will change.

we're cooked
I can't even imagine how young people and next generations will grow up in this environment
everything seems numb, generic, soulless, artificial...

I genuinely stopped posting on X literally because of this. I sat down one day and really thought about the whole point of trying to keep posting on X when all I get are AI written responses. For a long time, it made me feel good in a way because I was getting engagement on my posts and building something there but at a point it just doesn’t make any fuckin' sense to me anymore for real

I really lost all interest in the whole idea and that is why I have stopped posting on X now. I just use it to check updates and stuff. The last time I checked my DMs, there were lots of messages from people asking where I am. I have just kind of ghosted everyone

I still have my subscription active for a few months now, even though I haven’t posted during all that time because I still have this idea that it will get better and I will be back on there soon. But it has been a few months now and I really don’t see much change

Maybe I will end up cancelling my premium at some point and just move on to using X as a behind the scenes user or lurker : )

I really love this analogy there <3... The honest truth is we've all kinda been affected by this one way or the other at this point and what made me like your analogy even more is the fact that I have been affected by the idea of trying to sound almost too perfect and it literally feels like forcing things, then just acccepting it.

And to tie it back to my comment above, while I was still posting on X in the last month before I stopped... I stopped myself from always trying to make perfect posts. I started posting more raw content, how I feel, but I thought that would change something with the kind of engagement I would be getting.

I was wrong and that was like the final straw for me to know nothing is going to change anytime soon, so I just stopped because I saw it as a total waste of time at that point

I think human connection will always prevail and this is just an inital phase that make us feel like we're doomed some how! but we will find our way to contorn it as always

I hear you, I also figured out the exact same thing on X, I currently don't have an X account anymore, I appreciate the human connection here about this concern, but I don't to be the person that is terrified of the greater good of AI, just because it is negatively affecting an aspect of my life I can control. I have no digital skills, but I also don't want to learn a skill that is currently in high demand but obsulte and automated in the coming years, what non saturated digital skills come to mind? Pls be kind enough to let me know. If I am delusional, help me see your point.

it was supposed to develop and improve everything.
it was never supposed to do that. It's been created with a purpose and that purpose has always been to control and replace humans, it's just that we were sold a lie on it, like pretty much with every digital innovation going on. They want us all in digital prisons and the AI is a big part of this prison, it's just that we never knew until recently, but the AI was never supposed to improve everything... at least not for the benefit of humans if that's what you're referring to.

And yeah, all platforms have been enshitified by the AI...

As far as I understand, the current model for all AI is unprofitable. At least not in proportion to the amount invested and the expected ROI. Most of them have already announced a significant price increase as the logical next step. Now, this will lead to the fact that only through the paid versions will you have the real quality of the AI tools and certainly no one will pay to spam, while spammers will be satisfied with the free versions, which turn out to be completely useless.
I believe that social networks will be the first to start adding "AI-generated" badges, because they are least not comfortable with 95% of conversations being conducted by various AI bots.

Yeah bro forums are full of bots now, best stuff moved to private groups

But BHW seems to be doing the correct things

AI is really in certain aspects especially online going to tear trust down and we'll end up with the dead internet theory

Yeah get it, AI spam is forcing platforms to tighten moderation.
