what's the quality you are uploading right now? Try uploading videos in the highest resolution possible 1080p. Make sure your internet connection is strong while uploading. If the issue continues try clearing the app’s cache or updating TikTok to the latest version. hopefully it will work

Totally telling from my experience,
This usually happens because of compression, not your settings.
Even with high quality on, TikTok compresses videos if the format or bitrate isn’t optimal.
Try exporting with good bitrate and format, then upload using a stable connection.
I guess this usually fixes it.

the videos were recorded with an iPhone 14 Pro, then I edited them on CapCut on my PC and exported them in 1080p. After that, I uploaded them to Google Drive and then downloaded/uploaded them on the iPhone. This is what I am doing.

I think video quality is getting compressed during the upload process.
Let's try uploading the video directly from your PC to TikTok instead of using Google Drive it will not hurt quality.
Also make sure youre uploading in the highest resolution check settings available in TikTok.

are you uploading directly from your phone or from a computer to see if that makes a difference in the video quality

I've encountered this before it's usually due to the input file and TikTok's compression. You should export your video at 1080x1920 resolution, 30fps and a bitrate of 8–12Mbps (H.264). Avoid uploading over weak 4G connections and use a stable WiFi connection. Turn off HDR if available. And remember to edit before uploading, don't re-upload multiple times as this will degrade the quality.

This issue often lies in bitrate and frame rate. If your original video has excessively high bitrate, TikTok will compress it heavily, resulting in pixelated images. You should export your video at a standard 1080p resolution, 30-60 fps, using the H.264 format. Additionally, try disabling the "Data Saver" feature in the app settings

I had same issue before make sure video is exported in high resolution and bitrate also try uploading from stable internet and avoid heavy compression apps sometimes tiktok reduces quality if file is already compressed too much before upload

I think it's because you've uploaded the video too many times instead of directly exporting from the original video. Each time you upload it to Google Drive, the video quality is reduced, so try not to upload videos too many times. Use a USB drive to avoid reducing storage space.
Make sure your video is exported in high resolution and good bitrate before uploading also try using stable internet and avoid uploading already compressed files sometimes tiktok reduces quality if the original file is low or heavily compressed before upload

If you're uploading via mobile app: export at 1080p, H.264, 30fps, bitrate 8-12 Mbps. Keep the source file at or near these specs so TikTok's transcode has less work to do — the platform degrades quality more when it has to do significant resampling. Avoid VBR encoding in your export; CBR at a clean bitrate handles their pipeline better.
If you're uploading via TikTok Studio web: the quality degradation is expected and harder to avoid. Switching to mobile upload (manual or ADB-automated) typically improves quality because the mobile transcode path is different and generally lighter.
Also: make sure you're not uploading a file that's already been compressed once — double-compression kills quality. Export directly from your editing software, not from a re-saved copy.
