Something I started paying more attention to recently while doing guest post placements.
Before placing a link, I usually check the outbound links on that site. Sometimes a blog looks decent at first, good DR, some traffic, but once you look closer, it’s linking out to every niche possible: crypto, casino, CBD, finance, tech… all on the same site.
At that point it starts feeling a bit risky.
Now I try to check the site’s linking pattern before placing anything, not just the metrics.
Curious how others handle this.
Do you mainly look at DR/traffic, or do you also check where the site is linking out before placing a guest post?
