Mixed because they are just resellersHostPlay's mixed feedback is correct, I tested their VPS plans for 6 months on a mid-traffic site and experienced 2 instances of unexpected downtime, each lasting around 2 hours. Uptime was 99.5% overall, which is decent but not ideal for critical sites. Their network speed was consistently good, averaging 250ms response time to US locations, but support took around 4 hours to respond to my tickets on average. For adult sites, I still prefer BuyVM with a GRE tunnel to OVH for added stability and anonymity.
Some VPS instances run very smoothly, with low latency and near–max bandwidth speeds, but at times the network noticeably slows down during peak hours — this is usually because the provider oversells by packing too many VPS instances onto the same server, leading to resource congestion.Does anyone here use or has used this hosting service and can tell me if it's a good option for VPS, and if it has a fast network?
That's the wrong mindset for long term survival.I need a managed VPS; I don't care about the price, as long as it's a service with good performance (fast and stable loading for an adult website). It doesn't even need to be completely offshore, but it should not kick me out upon receiving a DMCA complaint, only require the content to be deleted.
Just because some hosting is new, doesn't mean would be bad.It seems like a new service. Always go with the services that are already well established with good reviews.
