Depends on the niche and site. Usually is a mix between ai and ai + human edits.
From the sites mention on the Journey only one is 100% ai.
Others are mix.

Weekly Update regrading the Barcelona Local service site
Looks like things are slowly starting to pick up.
Keep in mind that the search volume for most of the terms in this niche is relatively low, so we cant expect massive impression numbers. What matters is that the trend is moving in the right direction, and the client just hit a new ATH in impressions.
Don’t mind the crypto terms, Im a CT guy
The owner also confirmed that he has received a few additional calls recently. Another interesting thing: someone visited the location and said they found the business through ChatGPT, so it seems the site is also getting picked up in AI recommendations.
Qucik Updates on other Sites
Ecommerce site: Still performing well. We’re maintaining around ~20 clicks per day. We also made a few more keyword optimizations, and the trend continues moving in the right direction.
LA service site: This one is also continuing to climb. We received 2 calls this week, sent quotes to both, and now waiting to hopefully close them next week. Fingers crossed

Congrats on the results! I'm not sure I understand the difference between semantic SEO and what i'd consider a regular SEO strategy?
Say you had a wedding photographer. Are you just covering all aspects and definitions of photography, with a focus then on the location too?

Just a quick update.
Traffic has exploded on the Ecommerce site. We’re now ranking #1 for multiple terms, especially around our brand.
Only issue is that GSC hasn’t updated since March 14, so we’re missing the last few days of data. There are some rumors about a possible core update, so let’s see how things play out.
Barcelona site
No real update here yet for the same reason, GSC data hasn’t updated in the last 5 days, so we’re basically waiting for fresh data to see where we stand.

Pillar Article -> Create articles closely related to topic -> Link back to Pillar article
But never had success like the one in your screenshot in terms of how massive of a difference it makes

Traffic has stabilized after the spike. We’re now at 30–40 clicks/day, which is still about +50% compared to before, so overall a solid improvement. Impressions still holding high. The 1-day spike to ~200 clicks/day looks like it was just a Google dance.
Current focus:
• Improving pillar pages
• Adding missing products that competitors already have
• Still looking for a reliable supplier, which is slowing us down a bit

We started working on the Barcelona Service Site at the beginning of March. One month later, we can already see some clear progress.
According to GSC data from the last 28 days, clicks have increased by 47% and impressions by 50%. This is a strong outcome considering the niche has relatively low search volume.
Looking at page-level performance, the main service page in English delivered the best results. It grew by 550% and generated 39 clicks over the past 28 days. The same service page in Spanish also improved, reaching 8 clicks compared to zero before.
The homepage also showed significant gains. The English version increased by 1100% and brought in 36 clicks, while the Spanish version grew by 250% and reached 7 clicks.
This project was initially done free of charge as a test. The agreement with the owner was to expand the work to other locations if the results were positive. Other locations are not the same service as this one. Its a bit more complicated and hard niche. Based on the current performance, the client is satisfied and has agreed to move forward with other locations.
An interesting fact from the owner. Some English-speaking customers, most likely tourists, mentioned they found the shop through AI such as Gemini or ChatGPT. The site had been optimized keeping AI in mind considering everyone uses AI now, and this suggests those efforts are already having an impact.
Overall, this can be considered a successful test. While numbers remain modest due to the niche and limited search volume per KWs, the growth in visibility and traffic is clear.
