Best Theme For Blog Website & Plugin

I’m running a blog website and currently using the Astra theme. It’s working fine, but I’m curious about better options that might help with site speed and SEO performance.


For those who manage content or niche sites, which themes and plugins have you found best for performance and rankings? Are there any free or paid alternatives that are lighter or better optimized than Astra?


Also, do you think the theme itself makes a noticeable difference in rankings, or is it mostly about clean code, speed, and proper SEO setup? Would appreciate hearing what setups others are using for fast blog sites.

You can use GP (Generate Press) theme for blogging. Moreover, Elementor pro works very well with GP Theme.

there's no "best theme", but there are many premium themes that are good, but you'll have to learn how to customize them as Wordpress has become very complicated for newbies, so I don't recommend it anymore...

But if you do want to use it, you can try themes like Generate Press, Astra, Avada, Flatsome, Neve, Kadence, OceanWP... these are just some that I remember off the top of my head from several years ago when I used Wordpress, but I'm pretty sure you can find dozens more with a quick search

But like I said, be prepared to spend hours, or days learning how to tweak them as WP has become tricky in recent years...
