It depends on Niche to Niche --- But overall, what brings the most impact is Guest Posting done on Strong, Established websites! If you are in Casino/Game Hack/Adult niches, where most websites are short-lived, you can build a lot of PBN links and go a bit aggressive, then switch to a different Domain if you are penalized on the other hand if you are in a niche where people would mostly come to get educated first and then buy your service or product then Building link relationship with Established Niche Relevant websites is an ideal approach and is effective and most likely keep you Ranked!

Totally agree with you — metrics alone don’t mean anything anymore. I’ve seen a lot of DR-heavy sites with zero real traffic or crawl activity, and those links barely get indexed or pass any value.

That’s why I focus more on real traffic sites with consistent indexing, active keywords, and proper history. Aged domains definitely help, especially when they’ve maintained relevance and aren’t just repurposed PBNs.

Most of my placements are on sites with actual user flow + USA traffic, so links get picked up faster and start moving rankings instead of just sitting there. Quality + indexing speed is the real game now.

If you’re scaling, it’s better to invest in fewer solid placements than bulk low-quality ones.
