First, i really love this forum

Second, reporting all these AI replies won't solve the problem, as moderators always respond and advise in such threads.


i ve not been here for around 2 years till February and now i have an impression that 90% of ALL content excepting Marketplace is generic stupid AI.

exactly! I've been itching for the last 2 days to create a thread in which to complain about this... It's pretty obvious that all of these profiles that are curious are bots, I don't know why we're allowing them to exist...

I'm also irked by all of the threads whose titles end in "... in 2026". And also about the replies too, all of the bots include the "in 2026" term in the first sentence, it's just plain obvious that this is AI slop...

They will likely lock this thread in a few hours, I'm one of the members who probably report the most comments here, but it's like trying to wipe the sea in a beach, the amount of botted generated threads and replies in insane, there are whole threads created by bots and answered between them, completely generic, artificial and bullshit discussions between AI, spammers and bots, lmao

Most of my reports are successfully deleted, but others remain because AI is not forbidden in this forum, if it's ''useful''.But I personally do not think there is a ''useful'' usage of AI in a forum like this. Even if the answer is coherent, if I want to read a bot answering, I can just go directly to ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, whatever, when I come to BHW, Reddit or another forum, it's precisely because I want to read a human answer based on real experience, not a bot trying to impersonate a fictional experience and spread general basic info

Of course, what we're not interested in is removing the threads and posts where people use AI to assist them in writing. Either translation, formatting, or proofing. However, the days of just typing in the title of a thread and mindlessly pasting whatever the LLM of choice coughs up is coming to an end.

Technically, whomever took care of the report was right. However, I have a few more tools at my disposal right now so cleaned it all up. This is honestly why its important to report things. I'd likely have picked it up to look into further when I reviewed the reports at a later date so even if it's rejected today, it could be a missing piece tomorrow.

I don't mind if someone AI for helping them make a better response but the thing I hate right now is that if someone makes a thread with a question , then these AI bots swarm that thread , I start reading okay , got the answer let me see what other people say and then its a wall of the exact same answer. Hard to come by honest opinions and answers based on actual experiences.

I agree, It's totally frustrating to have AI replies under the threads. I love to report them

I use Grammarly in this case and it's good (I still don't fix grammatical errors )

Useful AI responses clause is fine but too many AI responses turn the forum into an answer machine instead of a community. BHW (for that matter, many forums and online communities) used to be like a physical place where people meet and interact. We used to associate people with emotions like their personality, sense of humour, business strategies, ambitions, goals, etc. The AI responses make all accounts appear same. We no longer consider them as people. It's not different than chatgpt or gemini answering us. No matter how useful these AI responses are, they will never deliver the experience of a community.

This forum is flooded with these above scenarios. You have to skim through dozens of threads and answers to find a valuable human reply or thread.

As non English speaking,Sometimes I used ai to fix grammar and sentence before I post forum comment.. intention is just so reader understand context I'm trying to say but the results my bad english fixed by ai indeed sound just like ....AI
