We all pay taxes regardless one way or another. Either through sales or state/federal tax.

I replied but it got deleted because someone thought it was AI... But no, it wasn't AI and no, we don't pay taxes. Ascot doesn't pay taxes and no one on our team pays taxes. There are enough options these days to not pay taxes. Even when you decide to live in a country full of taxes, unless your work for the public administration, there are a lot of ways to end up not paying taxes or almost no taxes.

If you don't pay some taxes, who do you call when your house is on fire, when someone is robbing you, when your street neeeds repairs?

Yeah I pay taxes. When I was younger I would try to side step them sometimes but I don't anymore now that I have cease-able asset's lol

Constable, I know the force requires little more than a room temperature iq for admission, but your question is unintelligent even for your ilk.
Have you heard of vat, every time I buy anything, taxes are deducted which then are used to pay your salary so you can keep "law and order" by being first on site when it comes to a very dangerous parking ticket situation , and when it comes to a fight ot stabbing or shooting, you always seem to suffer from congestion , which is then covered by health insurance, also paid by taxes.
Most sincerely, your role model citizen Keyser, I always ask what can I do for the patria rather than what can the country do for me.

I mean... Somehow I'm still tax resident in a country that is on another continent and I haven't visited since Jan 2024 so police from there ain't gonna fly to me lol. I'd rather be tax resident where I am now but they won't let me! xD You don't want my taxes? Fair enough...

I'm not well-versed in the tax situation in other countries: I am here in the States, though, and we pay what is inside the law.
I want the roads my wife drives on well maintained, I want to be able to call for help if my home is on fire, I want to be able to call emergency services if we need an ambulance, I want to be able to call a cop if I need that kind of protection.
It's not really a matter of law, it's a matter of paying for services, just like you would do for the person who cuts your lawn, cleans your gutters, or washes your car.
Those people I see on a regular basis, and pay them at the time the invoice is due and I'm happy to pay them as they help with the quality of my family's life.
I pay around 4K a year for property taxes and don't complain one bit when I get those bills every November.
It's not a tax in my mind, it's paying for services.

Like I said, I'm unwilling to pay taxes in the country I don't like and I don't live in, I'm not exactly opposed to paying taxes where I live (especially since they're lower) which is something a lot of people don't understand
