Back in old days I was uploading series and films using some frame and made tons on money
Nowadays it's clickbait and people are gettin crazy to get more views.
On the otherside some of creators are gettin soo good on their job, people are in race to make better content.

When everyone focuses on making money from YouTube, content is no longer as creative as it used to be. Many people do whatever they can to earn money, and YouTube gradually becomes a place filled with low-quality, spammy content.

I think the phenomenon that you've noticed is due to people creating the same type of content with AI regurgitated trash. Youtube still has value to offer, especially in the education/educational niche, however, with so many people using AI nowdays to create content, it seems that it has lost its old spirit.

Feels like YouTube just evolved with the algorithm, creators optimize harder now because competition is crazy and attention spans are shorter. There’s still original stuff out there, it’s just buried under clickbait and fast content unless you actively search for it. I kinda miss the slower, raw videos where people posted just to share ideas, not to win the feed

I don’t think YouTube lost creativity, it just industrialized it. Back then people uploaded because they had something to say… now a lot of creators upload because the schedule says so. I miss the era of long, slightly imperfect videos where you could feel the personality more than the optimization

Short videos are nothing but a distraction; sometimes even being bored within a video could be enjoyable with older, more natural content.
