I don't understand, and never will, why we all can't just live together in peace.
Respect each others customs, religious preferences, etc. and leave everyone alone to practice such.
Who starts these wars anyway, it's not the people for the most part, we need to start respecting one another.
My 2 cents.
I can tell you why not but don't be offended by my manner of telling.
Walk into your bathroom and look in the mirror.
What do you see?
You see yourself and you perceive yourself as a human being but you have not the slightest notion of what you are really looking at.
When I look in the mirror I see a creature that walks upright; an evolutionary developement which allowed it in the dimness of time to see over the grasses of the savannah.
I see a creature with its eyes on the front of its head, giving it depth perception and vision based on images, although responsive to motion.
I see a creature with its ears on the side of its head, not on top like a wolf, meaning that the creature I see relies primarily on its vision.
I see a creature with hair on its face and head like a maned lion; the True Mark Of The Beast.
I see the top predator on the planet.
The top predator does not see well at night but has no need to hunt at night but does have the intelligence to create its own light when hunting at night, in the dark.
In our vanity and arrogance we endow ourselves with "souls" and "Godliness" and as the result, we have forgotten what we really are....a predator perfectly designed to live in a world in which we are on top.
The flip side is that our intelligence has also induced the arrogance and vanity; Hubris, if you will, that I mentioned earlier, which may well spell out our demise as a species.
No other creature on this planet kills wantonly only because it can.
No other creature engages in anything that could be called "genocide", except for survival.
No other creature on this planet kills its young in the womb by "choice", although certain animals may kill the young to protect a pack, group or breeding pool.
No other creature on the planet tries to set itself forth as anything other than what it is; from the tiniest shrew to the King Cobra.
Only "humans" lie to themselves and others about what they are.
I have worked with dogs, wolves, mountain lions, bears, African Lions and tigers.
All are pure, although tigers don't communicate very well and they scare the shit out of me!
And tigers are really fucking big!
Such creatures say to you, "If you fuck with me, I may well bite off your head and eat you! Got it?"
"Humans" say stupid shit like, "I will never fuck with you!" and then stab you in the back.
The other creatures on the planet are pure and in that purity there is beauty.

It will be noted that another lion; completely unsocialised, joined in the family reunion and hruth no one.
It is not our intelligence which will lead to our demise as a species but rather our denial, our arrogance and our vanity.
