Hey,

So there is a scammer that is scamming people here using a fake telegram (he just added a 3 to my real telegram). I warned the staff and what did they do ?

They locked my marketplace sales thread and are now asking me 30 dollars to d just delete my telegram from the marketplace sales thread. Is it normal ?

I'm protecting people from scammer and I have to pay for it ?

No way. This should be changed that's unfair.

Best regards

After more than 3000 $ in ads spent here this is the kind of answer that I have. And I never wanted to add a telegram to my marketplace sales thread. I was forced to do it...

I'm not entirely sure why you tagged me, as that is a support event, but nobody forced you to use TG.

I would never use a service like that to serve my clients; I would have them contact me via email or a chat option on my site.

Chill, take a deep breath and try to resolve the solution in a proper manner like a man. Opening a thread and posting this publicly will not only serve no purpose, but it'll make you get a warning.

I never wanted to give any options outside of blackhat world. Just DM here it's enough. But I was forced to give an option outside of blackhatworld.

Telegram is a really good chat service. It has a mix of both good and bad. Telegram is not a problem, bad people are.

I don’t need it. im making enough money without this.

I can completely understand your frustration , but if you are making enough money .

I would recommend you to invest $30 and make modifications to your sales thread professionaly .
Because making a thread like this doesnot show professionalism and will hurt your business .

Just my friendly advice .
Best of luck

Deleted member 1247054 - as you've been advised in your Support ticket:
Once a sales thread is approved and paid for, any changes to your service must go through the official thread edit process.
Updating/removing your tg contact when you are aware of a problem is protecting your buyers, your business and your reputation.

even by creating a website people can impersonate you. well bhw is just gonna lose someone that was spending money here.

not when I was forced by staff to put it.
Contact details are required, yes: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/the-blackhat-world-r-marketplace-rules.1295700/post-13962686. Sellers can choose which contact details they provide.
We're advising you in Support, but we'll repeat here:

The rules apply to every seller, whether they choose to advertise or not.

You use the BHW marketplace to advertise your service, but it is your service, and the responsibility remains with you. You agreed to list your service in accordance with the Marketplace rules

We hope you will reconsider your position.

ok you can reopen my thread even if I open a website people can always copy my website or email by changing one letter. customer should be careful when contacting me, as there is no solution i will just warn them in each bump.

For the purposes of updating this thread, Deleted member 1247054, as you're aware, your sales thread has been unlocked.

The Marketplace team have advised that, as there is no issue with your own TG, it can be reopened. Your Support ticket requested a thread edit due to a scam. As we've advised, any change to a marketplace thread is subject to thread edit rules, which would incur a thread edit fee. But in this case, strictly speaking, it's not required. It's up to you to decide on best practice as a seller.

For anyone reading this, it's worth following the advice we've already linked here
Also, making any off-forum contact referred to in a sales thread a clickable link for an extra level of protection for your customers could be considered.
