ok, well what if i actually do have a charitable raffle and give all the money to a charity?

I'll make my money of off ads, and private donations.

Because you would probably have to partner with the charity and not just say that you are giving the money to charity and any charity would not touch your idea.

I know you are excited and want to make a million, but this idea is pretty much dead due to the scammers saying they are going to send something and never do. Users do not trust anymore.

gl registering a charity...
sometimes it takes years.. and for raffles they may require you be a charity operating for X number of years.
and I highly doubt you can personally pocket ad money from your charity's website..

if you live in the US, it doesnt matter where your servers are... it's you who is cashing the checks.

Well, sometimes you need to be realistic in a sense. The idea won't just happen overnight- especially that it is something almost saturated, you will need to promote it through:

- Social Media
- PPC
- YouTube
- Press Releases
- Radio
- Youtube
- Banner Exchange
- Web forums

It will not be that easy. I would do microworkers dot com, but they will not let you buy workers who complete surveys. Think outside the box

Sure no problem.

This might work with CPA offers, but you have to have deep pockets to start. Since people are not going to trust that they are even going to be entered, let alone get something sent, prepare to send out a couple of thousands worth of free stuff to get testimonials that you are legit.

Where is the traffic going to come from? If you plan on doing adwords, then take into account your conversion % and then the lowest paying CPA offer they can do.

Say you want to give out a $100 prize. Take into account costs involved and profit, you will have to have at least 1000 people enter for you to make money.

I would definitely talk to a lawyer first, but I think there's a chance that the CPA thing might work. My understanding is that you can't charge or require purchase for entry UNLESS you also have a way to enter for free. This usually involves filling out a form and sending it in. I don't see how this is different from a CPA. You can damn well bet the companies receiving those paper forms are using the info for marketing (and selling it.)

Also, as far as establishing trust in the legitimacy of your drawing, check out random.org -- it's a third party draw service.

If you are doing CPA's w/ social networks, don't worry about the raffle part of it. Just iFrame or redirect to the Free NoteBook Computer CPA offer and use the social networks to drive traffic. Get 1000 unique visits a day and make about 100.00 a day and then when a real million dollar idea comes in, hopefully you'll be ready to do it on your own and not put your method up for the world to see and do it before you can.

im one of those 1,000,000 who thought of this, i do holiday tours, and i was going to offer a 6k holiday , as top prize and do it via CPA. but it was the legal side that stopped me, i started to read , and thought better of it, and untill now didnt think more of it.
if there wasnt a legal isue its a great idea, but then it would be saturated if legal or not classed as gambling , and amounst those laws.
im a brit , but i live in asia, maybe there is a way round it ,lol the laws here as sooooo not like usa or uk. and i have several accounts here, lol ummmm
