Same campaign, same structure, today it's generating orders – tomorrow it's completely shut down.
A slight on/off switch or budget adjustment will get it back into the learning phase.
Has anyone else experienced ads "going well and then suddenly dying"?

Happens but varies depending on the account and niche. Most probably your accounts are not quality accs and they trigger red flags

Meta doesn't distribute data linearly.
Every day is a different auction.
If the account and pixel don't have enough robust data, fluctuations are perfectly normal.

Are you using blackhat ads or offers? Because for whitehat ads this type of behaviour isn't normal.

In general, Facebook optimization is very fragile. Because in a stable campaign, God forbid they reject an ad, the campaign disrupts optimization and the results start to fluctuate.

Imagine your Facebook ad is like going fishing. You'll have your answer.

Sudden funnel expansion and ads being turned off or rejected are common problems with niche products. If your product is transparent but you're still experiencing these issues, check your account history.

The current meta isn't for fixed things; the current meta algorithm is always creating opportunities for change and fostering competition, so there's different learning across campaigns.

fb ads are like that now, better not touch budget during scaling.

Meta-optimization works based on your spending budget; if you spend a lot and consistently, all activities will be stable, and vice versa.

Yes, this is quite common. Small changes like budget edits or toggling campaigns can reset the learning phase and destabilize performance. Meta’s delivery system is dynamic — competition, audience fatigue, and auction shifts can cause sudden drops even with the same setup.
Try avoiding frequent edits, scale gradually (10–20%), and monitor frequency + CPM trends. Stability usually improves when the campaign exits learning and gets consistent data.

Meta's system isn't designed for static operations. With stricter controls in specific industries and algorithms that prioritize innovation, constantly changing and learning from new data is the only way to maintain a competitive edge, rather than seeking a fixed setup for every campaign.

Yeah, this usually happens when FB’s algorithm needs time to readjust after small changes. Keep changes minimal and let it stabilize for a few days—sometimes just waiting is enough for the ad to run smoothly again

When running a campaign, I think you should keep it as is and avoid turning it on and off too much to prevent Facebook from misunderstanding and distributing the wrong target audience.

It partly depends on your product; does it have a large enough customer base for distribution? Or should you split your campaign across multiple ad accounts and fan pages to increase reach?

It depends on your product. If you're running white hat ads, this rarely happens. But if you're running black hat ads, your ads are much more likely to violate policies, and that's understandable.

Strong offers don’t randomly die, they fluctuate, but they recover.

Yeah happens man, algo resets if budget or targeting change too fast, try small tweaks and keep scaling slow.
