Google Ads account suspended: No idea why?

Hello everyone,
I know I'm certainly not the only one who has had this problem.
A few years ago, my Google Ads account was suspended for “unacceptable business practices: phishing.” Unfortunately, Google doesn't provide any information about what exactly they don't like. Appealing doesn't help anyway, and you don't get any feedback from a real person. What's the point of appealing if you don't know what you've done wrong?
I have a CMS (Joomla) on a German server, CMP (from Google), legal notice, terms and conditions – everything is there.
I had just started using Google Ads and had spent maybe a few euros before the account was suspended again.

I find it particularly regrettable that Google itself does not provide any feedback on what exactly is wrong. I've read through the ad policy - ht tps://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/15938071#phishing and I have to say, I feel pretty ripped off when I read through the examples and am accused of something like that, and then you don't get any feedback from Google Ads about what they actually don't like.

Thanks to Google, I feel like a criminal. I don't have any problems with other systems, only with Google, and this isn't the first time

Write an appeal (submit it again if it was not approved the first time) and there is a chance that your account will be unblocked. Tested.

Hey, it's okay. Don't be so sad bro. Just write it to them asking for a proper reason. Most of the time, if you fulfill their demands, they will accept what you say and remove ban from your account. Just pray and hope that they do..

You’re definitely not alone. This “phishing / unacceptable business practices” suspension often happens automatically, even when there’s no real phishing involved.

Google usually doesn’t give specific feedback — appeals are mostly automated re-checks, not real human reviews. That’s unfortunately normal.

I can't check anything in Policy Manager. Google always says “phishing,” but I don't engage in phishing. I also can't check old advertising campaigns. My account has been suspended since 2020, and all advertising campaigns prior to that no longer exist.

Great for you. And no, I don't have any inappropriate content. Google is the only company that treats me like a criminal (even though Google are the real criminals).

I've been through something similar to you. I had an ad account for two years, everything was legal, and then one day I received an email from Google saying my account had been suspended. I emailed them but they refused to reactivate it. I realized that even if you comply with Google's policies, they can still suspend your account, which is why I now always have two backup accounts.
