Google De-Indexed EVERYTHING I Have - is this possible?

I'm involved in CPA/Adsense/Clickbank. I mostly do mini-sniper-type blogs, been doing this for a couple years, slowly building a nice big empire of blogs that make income. I'm not going to say how much I made, but it was in the tens of thousands per month with everything combined.

Today, I'm checking my stats on adsense, and my clickbank and cpa accounts. Something seems suspisciously low.

Basically everything I have, as of this afternoon, has been completely deindexed. There are a few scattered blogs here and there that didn't get nixed, but basically everything is gone.

I did pretty much everything by the book to get my sites ranked. The worst thing I did was do forum profile backlinks, but I don't see how that would get my account nixed?

I probably had about 150-175 blogs in all.

Anyone know what's going on or is this some Google jiggle and everything will be back tomorrow?

are you deindexed: ie you search for your site with something like site:mydomainishere.com and nothing shows up

or are you sandboxed: ie you search for the title of of your site with something like "my domain is here" and you've moved from top 3 to like page 5

?

big difference.....

Are the sites that were deindexed connected to the same adsense account?

Sucks but it seems like Google banned you. Were your sites cookie cutter sites that looked like MFA sites, did they have autoblogs on them?

Yea all the stuff that was deindexed was part of the same hosting account (c ip), and godaddy registrar account.

I have some other stuff up in other hosting/godaddy accounts that weren't affected, but this was my main one.

And they were deindexed meaning, they didn't move in ranking, if you type my site(s) into google, they just aren't there.

Is there anything I can do? Did someone hack into my account or something and screw with all my sites so they'd get banned. Don't get it.

Had a few cookie cutter MFA sites, but my big money makers were all custom templates made by me, all custom unique content that either I wrote or someone else wrote - and all were promoted (or so I thought) legally. Like I said the worst things I did for backlinking was like forum profiles, but everyone does those. So weird.

A couple of questions:

Were you using unique content?
Were you using autoblogs?
Were you using linkwheels?

All content was high quality 100% unique.

No autoblogs.

No linkwheels. I used senuke etc for some of my sites but mostly just the profile module to get profile backlinks.

some personal suggestions of what you could do:

1) wait about 5-10 days

google dance happens all the time. sites completely dissapear from the index then reappear (usually ranked higher)

2) are you in the adult / gambling / pharama / "non family friendly" markets?

if so, all the way or part of the way?

if part of the way, migrate your "family friendly" projects to a whole different account / hosting company

3) are you on the same "c class": ie you're on a hostgator baby plan (or similar), and your "domains" are really just cloaked subdomains of a primary domain? (to check, find your main "login domain" and then put someotherdomain.logindomain.com - if it comes up with your someotherdomain.com site, then your answer is "yes")

or are you on the same "c class" ie you're running a vps or whm type account, and each project is (somewhat) more separate from each other?

if the first, consider moving to the 2nd

if the 2nd, consider opening 1 or 2 more vps / whm accounts at other hosting areas to keep your projects separate

Damn that is really too bad. I have something like that in progress. I wonder what could have happened.

Dunno if this helps or not, but check ur logs. Is google's bots still visiting your sites? If so, you'll probably be back at some point. I don't mean their adsense bots either, but the actual googlebot.

If they're not visiting, start rebuilding your websites. Your niches are still perfectly good. There's no reason to not start over. Get a few VPS boxes, a few diff registrar accts from different registrars, and just start over again.

I've been where you are before, but on a much smaller scale. At the time it was devastating for me because I had just started out, and had just started making significant numbers, then all of a sudden got slapped. I was able to rebuild a number of those sites from the same niche, and make comparable income numbers from them, but it was a b**** to do. Man, I don't envy you at all, and wish you the best.

That's what's so scary about relying on Google for your traffic/income. Some douche bag, middle wage earning spam team cubicle jokey has a bad day and all your sites get canned.

If the content was unique and useful and the blogs weren't using spamy looking themes, I'd contact Google and see what the issue is.

For reasons like this, I use every method I can to make my sites appear to be owned by different people. The only exception to this are my AdSense sites but I cluster those into 4 groups, each using a different AdSense account which obviously are each under different names.

PM me if you're interested and I can give you more details on how I keep everything seperated to keep stuff like this from happening. As for your existing sites, if Google won't reinstate them, you may have to get new domains, put the old content back on them and minimize the ownership footprint. Sucks though that you will lose your backlinks and rankings but you at least you can reuse the content and you've already got your niches staked out.

Anyhow, try to contact Google, it's not from a Google dance. That wouldn't make your sites get de-indexed.

Good luck.

My site was penalized for 6 months and googlebot still came to my site but it was very snail like. I never received my traffic back and all my rankings dropped to around page 5-6 and some around the 400 mark.

I hope everything work out for you because I know how it feels first hand. My best advice is if you know how you're violating there terms and conditions then be upfront with them and if they ever give you a second chance don't blow it.

I know about sites getting de-indexed, then coming back a few days/weeks later. But this happened to pretty much ALL my sites, ALL at the same time (150-ish sites).

Sure my adsense sites used the same basic theme, because I don't know a lot about coding, and themes are easy to install. For the most part though, most of them had custom high quality header graphics, and all of them had very high quality 100% unique content. No scraped or PLR content on any of them.

My CPA/Clickbank blogs were ALL different, all were completely unique and had very high quality content either written by me or a high quality ghostwriter.

Wasn't involved in any adult gambling shady stuff.

What's weird is I have random domains here and there that are still ranked, maybe 10 out of the 150 or so sites I had.

Ugh, just hope this was some weird google fart and all my stuff will be back in a few days.

The whole deal is kind of strange as it appears you were just motoring along doing normal stuff.

I'm effing baffled and would love to see what comes of this.

+1

other than google dance, makes no sense

any odd plugins specifically that spin / auto send content (ie send each post to 20 rss directories / or spin and send to 10 different web 2.0 properties)?

how old are domains?

private reg?

have you been doing anything odd but kinda grey hat like putting a set of text in a negative area on your template, out of view from a user but still where the spiders will pick it up?

anything that shows a different site to the google spider than what a regular user sees? (apparently google recently canned their own site from adwords or similar for doing this)

link exchanges or links out to other sites? sometimes a site that looks pretty simple and friendly (ie "The friendly hat shop") can really just be part of a link farm for some sort of adult crap......

I'm not saying that these are necessarily bad (I do most of them...) but if it turns out to not be google dance I'm trying to isolate what it could be.....

Color me baffled as well. It sounds like you've done nothing wrong.

Have you checked your backlinks to make sure someone isn't trying to attack you with massive amounts of spam links?

other thought: sites could have been hacked

(sorry to keep listing things, but can't (and don't want to) see your projects so kind of shooting in the dark trying to help)

do you use admin / same password for each site?

open up a site, view page source

hit ctrl+f, search for "http"

should hit each link there is in the page source, look for anything out of the ordinary

if that doesn't show anything, there's a few wp plugins that help with this, as well as pick 2 or 3 random pages on a site and look for the same thing.

consider submitting a site or 2 to google webmaster tools, see if they point out any problems with your site

I am beginning to think someone just saw a footprint and did something to all my sites. I don't have private reg, and most of my wp blogs have the same login (dumb I know).

What's weird, is 2 days ago, some of my sites went offline and had some weird server error. So I went to hostgator chat, and they said someone had changed my .htaccess file so they had to reset it or something. I don't even know what that means or how to do it. It only happened on like 2 out of the 150 sites I have, so I didn't think anything of it.

Is there any way to contact Google and ask them if something happened?
