I have been creating and uploading pins on a daily basis. Until now, I have gained only one follower.

What can I do to improve my situation?

Just go ahead and ensure to post quality stuff.

I'm afraid however that AI content will lead Pinterest southwards as it happens with Reddit and various other forums.

Message and follow other board owners, try to join other boards, direct traffic to pinterest from other sites, good luck!

Daily pins alone aren’t enough, focus on keyword-optimized titles/descriptions, fresh pin designs, and niche boards. Pinterest is slow at first, so give it time and track which pins actually get impressions.

many accounts get 0–5 followers in the first weeks but still receive impressions if SEO is right. Keep optimizing, not worrying.

Try idea pins and stay consistent. It usually takes time before followers start coming.

You need to spend time engaging with other accounts on Pinterest. You should also improve the quality of your Pins to help your account grow.

Focus on SEO-friendly titles/descriptions and trending idea pins, daily posting alone won’t cut it.

leveraging quality content is a good way to attract new followers

You don't really need followers in Pinterest that much. Pinterest's algorithms is waaay different than other social media platforms. Your pins can have good distribution, even if you have 0 followers.

Just seek to get good metrics in "Saves" and "Outbound Clicks", rather than followers.

Getting followers on pinterest can be surprisingly slows, especially in the beginning. One follower is not unusual if the account still new. I would focus less on followers count and more on impressions, saves and outbound clicks. In my experience, consistnet posting, keyword optimmized boards and attractive pin designs tend to make a bigger difference over time than chasing followers directly.

Post consistently SEO-optimized pins, use keyword-rich boards, create fresh idea pins regularly, and engage with trending niches using high-quality vertical visuals.

create niche focused boards, instead of posting random topics. pinterest usually rewards accounts with clear themess.

I am still learning pinterest myself, but from what I have read, one follower is not unusual in the beginning.
pinterest is more of a search engine than a social platform, so growth can be slow at first.
