Where to sell leads for rank and rent business?

This is my rank and rent business ranking.

There's still too much work to do here to improve more ranking, but how do i find a local business service that can also do the jobs from my leads?

I know there are networks called Leadsmart, Inquirly, etc. But if there's a way to find who is legit business owner that would be more beneficial for my business.

When I did that, I contacted local businesses by phone, told them what I had, sent them a couple of samples, and then sold them in packs of 5 or 10 (I forget it it was 5 or 10, but it was one or the other) and had them prepay.

I charged per lead... I think it was 25.00, and it was for lawn service/landscaping.

This was about 15 years ago or so.

Okay, how did you track the lead then? Back then, there wouldn't be spam calls or email, so i guess every call would be from an actual customer.

And i am still a little bit confused about rank and rent businesses, like how should i sell and track the leads or call?

I know there are call forwarding tools here, but they charge for every inbound call. So most of the time there would be spam calls on my business number, and i don't wanna get charged for spam calls. That's why i am thinking to rent my business to an actual business owner for x amount of $ for a month.

I received all the information from the prospect and would then email that information to the buyers.

Sometimes I would have to get on the phone with the lead to get all the required information.

Rank and rent is not passive, it requires hands on work.

Renting your business/website to an actuall owner would be passive though and may be the way to go.

I used to charge per lead, but it quickly becomes a pain in the butt if you start building more lead gen websites.

Unless you can pay people to go through all of the leads and verify them, then pass the lead on to the client etc.

Charging a flat monthly rate is much easier...but you make less money.

Honestly, I keep this very simple.

I start by checking Google Maps for my service and look at businesses that are not in the top spots but are still active (usually ranking 5–15). These are real business owners who already understand the value of leads.

Then I call them directly. No long pitch. I just say something like:
“I’m generating local leads in your area. If you can handle the work, we can start with a small trial.”

From the call itself, you can tell very quickly if the owner is serious or just wasting time.

I also do a quick check on their Google reviews and local Facebook groups to confirm the business is legit.

Lead networks can help with volume, but working directly with a local owner is more stable and better long-term for a rank and rent business.

That's what i did right now.

I posted it on a rank and rent facebook group about this and one guy from there DMed me about it.

And i rent my business to that guy for a few hundred dollars a month. It is a month-to-month deal.

Let's see how long this deal will work.

Also, now I am going to create more rank and rent businesses.

If he's getting plenty of leads and converting them into customers, he'll stick with you for life.

If he starts saying the leads are no good....... either

1. They are poor-quality leads
2. he's a bad salesman and can't convert them into customers.

Volume is low for this niche, so he wouldn't get much leads but enough to make money out of it.

well thats good enough. If he can turn 1 lead into a decent profit then he's onto a winner. All that matters is that he's making money.......that means you will too.

Network on local business Facebook groups or broker sites like Flippa/Exchange. Quality matters more than volume for price.

Do you mean selling exclusive leads or reselling the same lead to multiple businesses?

Work with LeadSmart; they are paying up to $500 for water damage leads. Or check their payout list for the city you are targeting. Then you can get an idea of how much you can make from your website.

Appreciate your input... If I wanna rent it out to a local business that will handle the restoration, what you think I can charge for it monthly?
