Seller did not disclose to me that he was utilizing illegal/cracked plugins to build my WP site - it was only after I confronted him that he admitted he should've told me about the cracked plugins. At the time he said two, however there were more. Seller also mentions in his thread that a premium theme would be used, however, I was given a free theme. Seller has a 100% money back guarantee if I am not satisfied. Because of the many cracked plugins and the free theme (instead of premium) I am requesting a 100% refund. Unfortunately, I did leave a positive review prematurely. I only found out about the cracked plugins when they wouldn't update -- a few days after the review was written.

Every time I have shown him proof of something or what he said, he makes up excuses as to what best suits him -- not following his own threads guarantee. He has said two times that if I find something that is offered in his package that he did not fulfill, then he would give me a refund -- This has been met with excuse after excuse.

Please detail exactly how you have tried to resolve your issue before now.
I tried as hard as I could to work this out with the seller. I have had an open DM thread from December 5th until now trying to work this out with the seller. I have given him MANY 24 hour warnings over and over in hopes that we wouldn't have to go down the dispute route and involve moderators. Despite my trying every thing I can think of, seller still refuses to cooperate with me, is making excuses and is contradicting what his own threads and DMs say.

What kind of outcome are you looking for from this Dispute?
A full 100% refund as outlined in his thread and the DMs where he said he would - $150

I have great respect for this forum and for all its members.


Rubix101 requested a refund for something that is not included in our service. At no point do we claim that we use licensed premium plugins. While our thread mentions premium themes, it is never stated that a premium theme will be used for every website. Theme selection depends on the specific requirements of each project.


Regarding satisfaction, Rubix101 was satisfied with the website design and has also posted a positive review in my thread.


As for the $150 matter, I will leave the final decision to the BHW staff.


To clarify with an example: if I were to use four premium plugins, with an average cost of $60 each, the total would be $240. It would not be reasonable for me to provide $240 worth of premium plugins in addition to website design and on-page SEO services for a $150 project.

Because this is our service pricing, our standard package is $150.

I will just say one more thing -

Seller continues to deflect by pointing out a review PRIOR to me knowing of any of these problems (I very much detailed that in the dispute form that I left the review prematurely).

In addition, seller is still contradicting himself. There is no $150 package listed on the initial thread/graphic, and the only thing close to it that I can see is a bunch of $135 discount deals with post bumbs. So again, the sellers previous example of it not being feasible to use a premium theme, premium plugins, etc... is not valid at all especially since I paid more than the 55% off.

Okay -- So your math is now wrong -- $135 (from your thread and here) + $20 (for SEO) = $155... Are you going to say next that you gave me a $5 discount so it equaled out to be $150?

So once again it seems that you are just making stuff up as you go along.

Mods -- I am not sure what more we can do here. He has said that he will leave the $150 refund up to you all but still continues to make up excuses, things that aren't in his thread, etc...

We don’t claim about legitimate premium plugin anywhere in our thread, Also I have mentioned earlier that it’s not feasible to provide legitimate premium plugins within this price range.
