Facebook ad spending limit

This usually happens when Facebook applies a risk or trust reset to an account. Large or sudden spend spikes often trigger automated limits. The only real fix is time—keep activity clean, maintain stable payment methods, increase spend gradually, and ensure ads stay fully compliant. With consistent behavior, the limit may increase again.

Maybe beacause your accounts were detected by the algorithm and determined as 'unusual active',just lower your expenditure and wait. And an antidetect browser could help protect your account next time.
Yes, Facebook notified me of that.
This usually happens when FB applies a risk or trust reset on the account. Big spend spikes often trigger automated limits. Only real fix is time, clean activity, and stable payments spend slowly, keep ads compliant, and the limit may increase again.
Okay, thank you for the helpful information.

Because we spent a lot of money, $30,000 per day, Facebook flagged our activity as unusual.

That’s usually a trust issue with the account, the only real fix is building account history, keeping spend consistent, and contacting support for gradual limit increases.
Oh, because my client spent a lot that day, it caused an anomaly in the account.

Some of my customers recently encountered a situation where their accounts spent a lot of money, an average of $5,000/day, some accounts spent $10,000-15,000, but recently Facebook has reduced the spending limit to only $20/day. Let's discuss any solution to this problem

Reserverse question pls; have heard about company/agencies who are spending thousand in order to sponsor ads via fb. Are they truelly getting roi?

Note; i sold my old fb ads account with high limit for $1500 to one agency. I never regretted selling that account bcos i think ads via fb is not for someone like me.

Thanks

That’s a trust reset from Meta after aggressive spend. Theres no shortcut. Keep the account clean, verified and spending steadily at low levels, the limit usually relaxes over time.

My friend, Facebook is really, really good for those who do business and sell products; it's the main advertising channel for businesses.

Okay, I'll spend another day or two seeing if that works.

I have the same issue, i contacted facebook support and they say this is because the fb ads manager is new and i should build trust first

It looks like a Meta system error. You've only spent $20 so far; once you hit your daily budget consistently, Meta will likely increase your limit.

Agreed. Slow spend, clean activity, and consistent payments are key. Once trust rebuilds, limits usually lift.

That's your new account, while my account has already spent $200,000.
This is due to advertising campaigns being rejected multiple times or automated payments failing
No, it's because there were unusual expenses in the account, my friend.
Too many rejected advertising campaigns will eventually lead to the account having its spending limit reduced
We also encountered some rejected ads.

Thank you for these contributions.

One trick I often use is to set a payment limit of $2. Then I just wait for Facebook to increase the daily spending limit. You can try it.

That’s a frustrating situation! It sounds like Facebook's algorithm may be flagging your accounts due to sudden spend increases, potentially triggering security checks or quality score adjustments. I recommend gradually increasing daily budgets back up over several days while closely monitoring ad performance and ensuring compliance with all Facebook advertising policies, also, investigate any recent changes in targeting or creative that might have triggered the shift.

It's true that in many cases, Facebook is tightening its management. Even when many people invest large budgets, the results are still very poor.

Yes, recently some of my clients have been spending too much, so Facebook has been restricting their spending.

Facebook is increasingly using unjustified reasons.

Recently, I've witnessed this occur with several accounts. The only long-term remedy is frequently to maintain regular expenditure, a strong payment history, and policy-compliant advertisements since there is no quick fix.

This usually comes from automated risk controls reacting to sudden scale, not manual penalties. The best approach is to rebuild a predictable spend pattern, avoid testing heavy campaigns and let the account show stable performance.

Yes, Facebook has stated that due to excessive recent spending history, they have restricted certain spending.

Thank you for sharing this; I will consider it.

Try spreading ad activity across several verified accounts and running campaigns in smaller, steady increments this often helps lift sudden restrictions naturally.
