Hello guys good day to you all well a friend brought this idea to me because am already a developer and the idea was to build a porntube and I found interest in it and this is the 4 day and am done with my ui already and have written some basic pages now I stopped by to think of how am I going to get traffic to this website and according to my research I can use Reddit and telegram but my problem is this on Reddit I can’t even post links either on comments or on my post and for the telegram I have created an account but how do I get subscribers and my second question is this am implementing the embedded format not reuploading and am seeing something like my site can be brought down further copy write and am curious if it can be flagged fir copy right while will xvideos provide that future on there website

Reddit is very strict with links, so first build karma and post without links, then add your site in your profile or promote softly. Telegram doesn’t grow automatically you need cross promotion, shoutouts, and regular posting to gain subscribers.
Using embedded videos does not fully protect you from copyright issues. Your site can still receive DMCA notices, so make sure you have a DMCA page and remove content when requested. Xvideos allows embedding, but they won’t protect your site if it gets reported.

thank you so much for your contribution well right now i have stopped trying to grow the telegram for now i want to finish on the development of the platform and am already good in dev so i can build a good seo on my tube and again i want to ask if this is a good idea now in 2025 because i dont want to waste my efforrts for months building what i wont profit from

You can either create an official subreddit for the site and grow followers or watermark short clips with your domain and share them.

Telegram requires a lot of cross promotion. You can try spamming in DMs to get reach. You should buy accounts and use reliable tools to spam. The accounts will still get banned, so you need to keep purchasing new accounts.

It's not really porn only related, if you make this accessible without kyc in some American states, if you get dmca notices or copyright lawsuits , you can't run this from your own vps.

You wanna be immune to take down requests, ddos and never known, this includes any correspondence and payment flows etc.

The deployment on the metal just means you need to harden and protect your own server, the bullet proof hosts do not come with c panels, you need to handle everything yourself.

And offshore vs bulletproof is not the same, make no mistake there

You should know that the competitors are not very nice people wnd they might initiate law suits for copyright and such just to take you down.

This is hostile territory, do not be like the darkweb pirate guy who was named on stackoverflow years before the FBI got wind of him.
