I wanted to start a discussion around UI/UX best practices for AI, based on what I’m learning so far:
Some principles I’m focusing on:
- Clarity over intelligence – users should understand what the AI does instantly
- Explain the output – show why AI gave a result, not just the result
- Human-in-the-loop – always allow user control and correction
- Progressive disclosure – don’t overwhelm users with AI features
- Feedback & confidence signals – loading states, accuracy hints, limits
- Fail gracefully – clear fallback when AI is unsure or wrong
I’m curious to learn from more experienced members here.
