For the paranoid amoung us, I wouldn't scan a random one, in the same way i don't click random links that look dodgy. Its good thinking that every QR code is dodgy, as you don't have a clue whats on the end of it, and if you just scanned someone access to your banking app! lol
If i was on your website, and it was a legitimate website I trusted in, then I might think about scanning one if it meant i got a 10% discount and could sign up to your mailing list.
