I posted an hour ago, and it still says 0 views. It's a new account and my first video. I'm a bit afraid they might have flagged it since it said first under review but it quickly got turned to public again.

It contains sexual reproduction facts, but they're not explicit. I use words like semen instead of cum, masturbation instead of jerking off and so on.

Did you post with hashtags? It's actually common for some videos to get low visibility on tiktok after 1 hour especially if the algo flags your video as inappropriate or think it's not engaging enough.

Yes, I used three hashtags. You say "low visibility" But I've gotten none at all, and it's two and a half hours now.

Zero views after two and half hours with hashtags seems odd. And since it's a new account and your first video, you're probably flagged because of the keywords used. Try posting a "clean" video and see if you get same results. Have you followed any accounts or got followers yet?

Those words are in the video not description, in regards to the keywords, or did you mean words in the video?
I haven’t followed anyone or gotten any followers. I created the account shortly before uploading the video.

You should usually get views within a few hours; maybe if you uploaded the video from a PC, that could be the reason for the 0 views.

It's random, sometimes a video picks up within a few hours, sometimes a few days. Sometimes a video can blow up after a month or so

Going public after review is normally acceptable, but reach for sexual and health-related content is slow, so give it time and regularly publish new videos.

Building and growing a channel is a process that requires time and patience. You need to give it more time and focus on producing quality content, viewers will come to you.

This is the kind of answer I'm looking for. I don't know what's the norm since I'm new to tiktok. I was a bit worried it had gotten flagged or shadow banned.

And I also can't find the video when I search for it/filtering according to uploaded date

It really has nothing to do with hashtags. Talking from experience. All you need is good video quality and a hook (first 5 sec) that keeps viewer "hooked" so that Tiktok boosts your video for larger audience.
Tho if you still got 0 views after a few hours, means TT systel flagged ur video as innapropriate or smth

It says shadowbanned with a red banner over the video. Does this mean that the account is also shadowbanned and that I can't upload any other videos?

What would be the best step after this? Delete the video? Edit it without using certain "adult" words (even if I find plenty of other videos with semen and sexuality) Or start a new account?

Right after each other, no more than 10 minutes.

That's really not good a human if go to tiktok not create account for just to upload (sharing what i observe) if anyone create account it should scroll reels comment make it's feed good, but if you just upload right after it may flag you account, create new account and try after 24hr after like video comment scroll reels etc

I'm not sure, but it's a pattern that repeats itself with many users; when uploading videos from a PC, sometimes they get stuck at 0 views.
